Three is going to be really goddamn hard. 1. I’ll start professional and talk about his muses, specifically the ones that I write with here, even though I love ALL OF THEM. He’s put so much care and thought into every characterization. I swear every quirk has reasoning behind it. I could listen to Emile’s headcanons forever because there’s so much and all of it is so interesting!

I have to talk about Andrew, because he’s the reason why I approached Emile initially. I can’t imagine my Sander with another Andrew Ryan. I can’t imagine another Andrew, actually. Emile’s lives in my brain rent free. He’s a very complicated man and Emile leans into that. He’s given Andrew so much depth beyond what the games gave us, but in a way that feels canon. I forget that it isn’t sometimes I love Ben so much. I need to say something about Ben. He fits beautifully in Rapture. Every new thing I learn about him is like getting punched in the heart (in a good way). He’s tragic, but he’s so full of sunlight and joy that he’d be hard not to love (unless you’re Sander)

2. Emile is full of headcanons and lore and opinions and I love all of it. His text posts are always a delight to read (his arguments too, but I should not encourage him 😆). He takes so much into account. In his writing too.

3. He’s just so much fun to talk and hang out with. He’s introduced me to bad movies and great youtubers and has left a permanent mark on my taste in music. I legitimately can’t imagine what life would be like without him. I think I’d be kind of lost. I’m so glad I worked up the courage to send him an ask forever ago even though he seemed so cool and talented and I was terrified. Now he’s my QPP and I couldn’t be more excited to be able to say that! Quips!

I would normally not shill out my own posts on someone else’s, but I do think that this post I just made has some much - needed context for before you go into this interview.

Erik is a really sweet guy, and he hit his first - ever professional interview out of the park imho, even though many people here on Tumblr would argue his questions weren’t hard - hitting enough.
