"You want to talk about it?"
Here’s my second guide, all about grass wear! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
I’ve had quite a few questions in the past about my dirt paths (before the snow covered them over, boooooo!) and I’ve also seen a few people confused (e.g. thinking that designs will protect the grass, etc.), so I thought I’d make this! It’s not as colourful as my last (and first) guide, but I reckon it gets the job done…
Anyway, I hope this is helpful - enjoy! (✿◠‿◠)
Pointing to the sky with a slight smirk "That's where we are going." He said excitedly. "Even if we don't make it out of the earth's atmosphere we will be in a better place than where we started." He said reassuringly. "Even better if we explode mid launch and blood splatters on all the people below us!" He said wide eyed and coldly with a smile on his face. "Ready to launch?"
Near is at a park sitting on the bench looking at the people walking by. "One of these civilians are not as civil as they'd like you to think." He said smirking while twirling his hair. "Which one do you think it is?"
-
Near stares at him for a while. “Here you can take it.” He hands him the cake. “I don’t even like sweets anyway. I like toys.” He grabs finger puppet that looks like him. “I’m taking your cake.” He says in a mocking tone.
“—— It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, Near. How about we go to get you some new toys to celebrate?”
"After stopping at the new pastry shop, of course."
"Yay! You mean it?" He asked hoping he was not messing with him. "There's a mech toy that I want it's cool it's blue and grey and it's awesome!" He exclaimed excitedly. "Yeah we can stop at a pastry shop." He said looking at him.
L turned to Near and guessed that his errand was successful at the sight of the riot gear. “Great…suit up, and take this,” he said, standing up and dangling one of the guns from his hand in front of Near. L retrieved on of the suits and began to slip into it.
Once he was completely suited, he removed his helmet to talk to the kid. “Ready when you are…”
He grabbed the gun and hid it in his jacket. “Thanks I’m ready to roll.” He said as he finished gearing up. “Ready to end this and take that girl back home where she belongs.” He added looking at L and imagining the power he had. “I’ll be at that level one day.” He said under his breath
L nodded and lead them to their garage where they hopped into a small, but fast car. L buckled up and waited for Near to get adjusted.
"I’ll need you to be my navigator, since you’re more familiar with the location of the hideout,"he said, beginning to pull out of the garage and speed off.
"Alright the first street take a left then take on the second street take a right for half a mile and the house is on the left I think." He said as he buckled up. "It is a brick house with bluish shingles with a dark red trim." He explained while sitting back to relax.

"The police station should accept you request if you mention my name. Give them a few details, but don’t tell them more than they need to go," L explained, beginning to stand up. He walked his towards the safe in the wall at the other side of the room with his hands in his pockets.
"I always keep a few handguns here just in case. The ones in here should suffice for our task," he said, beginning to type in the four digit code.
"Alright mention your name and they will give me the riot gear." He said as he walked out the door. "They are close they should be it’s a small city after all how far can they be." He said as he called for a ride to the station. "My ride will be here soon they were around the corner." He thought out loud. "Take me to the station I have some business there." He said as the car drove off he sat in thought for ten minutes till he arrived. "These people are going to pay." He thought. "I need some riot gear L sent me." He told the police as they welcomed him in.
L retrieved the two glocks and inspected them. “Perfect…” he whispered to himself. He took out the stray bullets and ammunition boxes that were in the safe and began to reload the magazines. He turned the safety on each of the weapons and placed them on the table, and began silently waiting for Near’s return.
Near retrieved the riot gear. "They just handed it over at the mention of L's name." He said a little surprised as he got in the car to return. "It must be nice to be such a great detective people trust you from the start." He said out loud when we arrived he grabbed the riot gear and walked inside. "Hey I'm back." He called out

L listened to Near as he continued to balance the sugar cubes on one another. “Of course a slap on the wrist wouldn’t suffice, I just do whatever’s necessary. In this scenario I say we apprehend and confirm their wrong doings, then you are welcome to issue any death punishment you wish. We’re working together, so we have to combine both of our strategies, I hope you understand,” he replied as he placed the twelve sugar cube on the stack, then proceeded to start a new stack.
"I’ll get the handguns and ammunition and you get the riot gear, I’ll meet you back here and we can…suit up," L suggested, turning his chair around as to face Near.
"Okay we'll get the necessary stuff you can question them then I do my thing." He said as he stared him in the eyes. "Oh yeah where do I get riot gear? I'm pretty sure I can't just walk up to the cops and ask for it or can I?" He asked as he got up to leave.
"Anyone want to hang out?" He asked the crowd of people in front of him. "I guess that's a no." He looked at all the people. "Screw you guys then." He walked away then turned back.
L began to balance the sugar cubes that were on the platter with the cookies as he thought of their best choice of action. He began mumbling almost inaudibly to himself, continuing to stack the cubes. After stacking seven cubes, he’d compiled his thoughts and began speaking.
"Based on the situation, killing them may not be the correct option," he began, "Our details are too limited. For all we know this could be a practical joke or even part of a bigger scheme. Either way we’ll need to apprehend them and take them in for questioning."
L’s sugar cube stack was now nine cubes high. He went to put the tenth one on when he stated, “We’ll need to acquire riot gear and a few handguns. That should protect us just fine if we’re doing this our selves. Anything you’d like to add, Near?”
"Killing them sounds fun though. It's my signature thing after all kidnappers die in my cases." He told him as he watched the sugar cubes. "Handguns and riot gear should suffice that's all it takes to kill someone I'd like to add we are going to kill them if necessary or not. Either after questioning or before it's going to happen. I'm not going to let them get off with a slap on the wrist." He said as he thought of his past how he got kidnapped and it almost made him feel sad enough to cry.
"I’d be glad to aid you, just give me the details and I’ll help you plan a way to get in and bring them to justice without any casualties," L replied as many thoughts popped into his head.
He began nibbling on his thumb as he thought about the possible location of the base and what the two of them would need for the job.
"All right the details. The kid who got kidnapped is 15 she's a female and had an issue with the neighbors two males. I was not told the specifics about the peoples relationship." He said looking at him while he thought. "What I was told by her parents is that the neighbors often come to this area." He told him what he knew. "The girl has brown hair, light skin, brown eyes. The men are in their 25-30 years old. That's it that's all I know." He said as he picked up the dice and threw them again.
L let a small smile slip from him at Near’s happiness to be forgiven. He glanced over at Near who seemed to have come to the most crucial part in his case: the justice. “Really? So you’ve figured out where they are? Have you devised a plan to take them down?” L asked, swallowing the last bits of the cookie.
"Is my assistance needed?"
"The kidnappers are near here hiding out for obvious reasons I'm guessing someone told them that I'm coming for them." He said as he took a pair of dice out of his pocket. "Your help would be much appreciated they are really close." He said looking at the dice then throwing them.
L paused, reaching his right hand out to grab a cookie off the platter next to him. He stuffed it in his mouth and resumed typing.
"Just some information on a case I was assigned. I see no need in reporting your mess up. You’re just a kid, and I’m not heartless…as much as my exterior may differ," he began mumbling while chewing the cookie, "but kids need to learn, and you should take this as a learning experience…or not, it’s your choice. But remember that every choice has a consequence."
L reached over and stuffed another cookie in his mouth, then peered over at Near. “But enough of that, what have you been working on recently?”
"Wow thanks I'll try my best not to do it again." He said as he looked around. "It's what always happens people disappearing people dying." He answered with a little disappointed. "But this time it's a kidnapping and I have a gift for the kidnappers it's a bullet I've been saving." He said with an evil grin.
Near walked down the street looking at the ground. "I need to make a couple friends." He told himself with sadness in his voice as he counted the cracks in the road. "Hey what the hell man watch where you're going!" He told the stranger he bumped into someone because he didn't pay attention to where he was going.
"Sorry I really didn’t mean to mess up that bad."He said "So what’s with the disappointed look?" He asked
L looked stared down at Near from his chair, while sitting in his signature position with his knees up to his chest. “Hm? Oh do I look disappointed?” L questioned,…
"I’m sure I could fix it that is if I wanted to but I honestly don’t." He said with a slight grin "I’ll just bask in the error of my ways. Please don’t think less of me." He said looking at him.
L let out a sigh and replied, “If you find it necessary to leave the situational it is, so be it. It seems you have a reason, so no, I won’t think less of you.” L swiveled his chair back towards his desk with his back facing the boy. “This slight set back shouldn’t be much of a problem…” he mumbled to himself as he resumed typing on the computed.
"What are you typing?" He asked looking over his shoulder. "This isn't going to be reported to anyone or anything like that right?" He asked a little worried. "I can't get in anymore trouble. People already have a hard time trusting me with their cases." He said with a small smile.
