#I think i might purchase an old vcr one day#if not to show kids I may or may not have#for myself because I love the fuzzy noise it makes and the static of the picture quality#I kind of mourn the fact that we aim for the clearest possible pictures and modeled animations so smooth that they aren't even fun#claymation and hand drawn frames and practical effects#I miss that#it all felt more real than all the crystal clear hyper realistic (and hyper realistic cgi that looks fake as hell)#I was thinking abt this the other night and im like literally what is next#you've accomplished making it look as real life as possible#so. virtual movies? being in them?#idek I get a little bleak when thinking abt the future#I love technology but I don't love the sterilization
