Septima chewed her lip for a moment. That sounded particularly fascinating and she was a little jealous that she hadn’t been able to spend the summer in Paris with the two of them. But that wouldn’t even make sense. “I’m sure Paris was amazing, and you two just fit right in there. All class and finery.” She smiled slightly. “Mine was fine. I am glad to be back here, though.”

“Incredibly different. We have people who come and deliver the mail, not owls. My mom still hasn’t adjusted to using the owls, I’m pretty sure she’s convinced that I’m just messing with her.”

Septima tried to keep her eyes from growing too round. “That’s really neat! People deliver the mail... How do they keep it all organized? Do they make trips to houses several times a day? How many letter people do you have? I’m sorry, this is so many questions and you’re just talking about your mom.”

I’m pretty cool I guess not. idk, I’m good at numbers and I love to read. I’ll talk to pretty much everyone? honestly I’m a hot mess and I just want to feel loved in this world. How is it possible that I fall so hard so quickly and no one ever loves me back? Why am I never good enough?

Not really. I don’t get angry, I get sad.

Definitely not. Creativity is not my forte, except perhaps in equations.

Well, I started to learn the cello when I was younger. Of course I picked the biggest and most impressive instrument, so I thought. I got pretty good, but it’s been a couple of years since I’ve touched it.

Definitely night. I adore mapping the stars and seeing how the planets align.

Merlin, and she thought fifth year was hard. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that. I’m just not sure why I continued with this subject.”
