I’m not saying that I’m desperate right now but money is tight while I continue my search for full time employment so I’m looking for commissions and also plugging my books! All of my books are available on my website Dead Cat Comix and commissions can be purchased through there or my email [email protected]. A nice 8”x10” black and white headshot of a character or person is only $30. From there the prices increase for color, full body drawings, multiple characters, paper size, etc. Hit me up if you’re interested in any of these things. I could use the extra income right now. This drawing of Molly Ringwald was a recent commission.

I saw this pencil sketch of Superman by the King, Jack Kirby, and decided to ink and color it for practice (I know, how dare I?). I made a few small changes (mostly lengthening the cape and cleaning up the symbol) and I hope the King would have approved. I tried to keep the coloring simple as a throwback to the old comics.

Okay kids, I finished drawing the book I was working on. It started out as a small 5-6 page story from travel journal sketches I did in Ireland but it kept growing and became a book of its own! Now, after having written and drawn ALL of that, I realize that it's not what you would call a commercial property. I know some people may find it interesting but I don't know that their's a market for selling multiple copies and so I decided not to print the book (at least not right now). What I am doing is offering the book for FREE digitally! That means that you can read it right now for FREE! Did I mention that it's FREE? Hey kids! The Quiet Desperation Kickstarter goes all the way LIVE on 5/15/23! Again, that's May 15th of this year! This is my biggest campaign yet and I'm hoping to bring in $1,000 or more! To be able to achieve this goal I am going to need the help of everyone I know!
