LISTEN UP FOR ALL YOU ANNAS WHO HAVE AN ALL OR NOTHING MINDSETâźď¸âźď¸
THE ONES WHO EAT A LIL OVER THEIR LIMIT AND THEN BINGE!!
I think I have a solution to this :3
Iâve always been like this, I do a little bad one day and think âoh well this days ruined, better eat while I can before I have to be good again tomorrowâ and it screws me up.
Well I recently came up with a different strategy thatâs helped me SO MUCH.
Stop setting a daily limit, set a weekly limit.
A weekly limit is self explanatory, itâs how many calories or certain macros you should eat throughout that whole week
And when you do this, I want you to completely stop thinking of your diet in days, just think of the week.
That way when you eat a lil too much one day, you have NO REASON to binge. Bc all those extra binge cals r just gonna affect your weekly budgetâŚnow you have less cals to eat throughout the week.
It also makes you think harder abt your cals, bc with daily limits you only have to worry abt your intake for that one day and then do that a bunch of times, but w the weekly limit youâre constantly thinking of your intake for the past few days, and how eating that extra slice of cake will effect you that week; which makes much more sense when considering long term weight loss.
Another thing you can do is work up towards a cheat day. Basically promise yourself a cheat day at the end of the week with all the cals left on your budget. This will make you wanna save up and restrict more throughout the week, and you might not even use all your leftover cals that day!
To do this is simple, I just multiplied my normal daily limit by 7 and increased it a little to fit those days I might go a little above.
If what youâre doing isnât working for you, I really recommend you try this! Who knows, it could be really helpful :3

More things that really helped me lose and stay on track â¤ď¸đđ;
(Tw) I make a fist with my hand and only eat portions that are the same size. (This is mostly for anything thatâs not low cal veg - I wonât apply this to lettuce for example)
If you are really craving something - cook it! Donât buy it - like a cupcake or chicken wings. Normally by the time Iâm done cooking I donât want it and give it to my familyâ¤ď¸ And if I do eat a bit- I burned cal making itâ¨
Building off of 2 I let myself snack when I bake sweets - those few licks are barely any calories and when I do I donât tend to want the final product anymore (which can be a huge amount of cal) đ
Building off of 2 and 3 (đ ) If I crave something for a particular reason e.g wings bcs of fat. I will literally just eat half a teaspoon of that weird thing - I mean who will actually want wings when their throat is coated in gross butter fat đ đ¤˘
If youâre always bingeing - youâre not bored - youâre lacking protein. Low cal and easy fixâ¨(Egg, Tofu, lentils) base Your calories around your protein - veg is very low cal and easy throw in for bulk.
On bingeing again; if you do all your bingeing in the night (and youâre like me đ ) actively wake up super early. Rise with (or before) the sunđ¸ Then be super active throughout the day. No more caffeine after 12 (takes 8 hours to leave your system) and you should crash at bed time - no energy to binge⨠Repetition will make it easier I promise! đ¸â¤ď¸
building off of 6; if itâs tiredness that makes you binge honestly for me those nights have a designated low cal meal - for me itâs jam toast and warm milk - itâs not super low in cal but it hits every mark I need to stop eating and relax for bed. Plus I know what calories it contains and donât have to worry or feel guilty as I eat it.âşď¸đ¸
(also building off of 7 if Iâm going through an obvious spell of those late night meals I just add it to my daily cal and assume Iâm going to eat it - that way I can adjust my day meals and if I donât eat it is a fun surpriseâşď¸)
stretching - the only way to make lean, soft looking limbsđ¸đ
donât be in your house. Literally! If you can do the thing you are doing elsewhere - do it! Donât bring money for food - just a bus card for emergencies and your phone. Or designate calories for a drink in a cafe and just stay there. Being away from where itâs easy to eat (and being WAY to anxious to eat in public) was a great way for me to start to stopâ¨
THIS ONEâS THE REAL MAGIC FOR ME; Make up weird rules for yourself⨠I am currently bingeing glee - every time a song comes up I have to do jumping jacks, exercise or bust a moveđđ. It genuinely makes the show more fun and makes my show bingeing sessions more productive, OH AND itâs done magic for my joint and back painâşď¸â¨đŞ´.
Sorry this was huge and all over the placeđ but I hope it helped you⨠- stay safe and keep warmâ¤ď¸đ¸đđ
This can and will be you.

How to suppress hunger
1.Water
Chugging water isnât always the best but before/during/after eating could really help making you more full and eat less
2.Green Tea matcha
Green tea matcha boosts a certain hormone that suppresses hunger and boosts metabolism
3.Coffee
Decaffeinated stimulates a hormone reducing appetite more than caffeinated (basically doing the same as matcha)
4.Apples
They are a good high-fiber/low-calorie snack
5.steel cut oatmeal
Itâs basically slow to digest due to carbs and dietary fiber
6.Nuts
High in fiber especially almonds
7.Exercise
Intense exercise can suppress hunger for at least 24 hours
8.Sleep
Lack of sleep causes you to get hungrier and overall disrupts your hormone levels
9.Mindful eating
Really chewing your food, savoring the flavor of the food and not munching on the food until your stomach explode
10. Reminding myself
Ik for some it might sound crazy, but a constant reminder is for me necessary so I can keep on track yk. When I Ik Iâm close to binging I remind myself why Iâm doing this/for who Iâm doing it for (js basically Motivation yk. Could be even toxic or non-toxic motivation, I couldnât care less)
Hope this helped and good luck on your weight loss journey đđž
(And please remember that theyâll probably temporarily suppress your hunger. And they donât always work for everyone)
V's Masterpost
đMain rule: we're not focusing on the food anymore but on everything else instead! (you do you, when it comes to that, but I recommend high restriction 1,000-1,500cal/day to avoid binging completely and you'll be able to be more consistent)
đ§Everyone says this but: Hydration is really important for overall health, start aiming at 2 liters per day
đââď¸Find exercises you like and can do often - aim for an overall active lifestyle so you'll be busy and fit (walking in the morning or in the evening counts as well)
đ§ââď¸Get enough good sleep to help your body recover from the efforts of the day - aim for 8 hours, the internet will give you many tips if you have trouble falling asleep
đLooking good is one of my main goals with weightloss - until I reach my goal, I'll do my best to look good, clothes should look put together, hair and makeup are optional but can make a huge impact
đHygiene is basic self care and going the extra mile is worth it and feels so good - if you have the time, why not lather yourself in moisturizer after showering? Do a hair mask, face mask, give yourself a hand or foot massage, show your body that you love and appreciate it
đThere's other things than food that give pleasure and comfort, indulge in those - eg. singing in the car, reading a good book, a great movie, masturbation/sex, getting your nails done; whatever makes you feel good (and doesn't harm anyone) do that!
đžHave pets? Great, I bet they love spending time with you, don't half-ass your cuddles, really give them attention when they need it (same principle goes for babies/siblings, if you have any)
đ¨Practice your hobbies, if you struggle to find an interest in them, try new things - doesn't matter if you end up with one hobby you can spend hours on or ten, that you can practice for short amounts of time everyday, you'll have something to spend your time and attention on
đWhatever your next non-weight related goal is, work hard for it! Get your education, get that job, build a cozy home for yourself or your family, become a full-on personality (the best version of yourself, a character you'd love to read about in a book)
đSpread kindness, this world is cold and aggressive most of the time, and small acts can change someones perspective radically and most importantly it's gonna change yours, too
đŤSpend time with your friends and family, I know it's hard for some of us especially when there's eating involved but try and plan ahead to fit small gatherings into your calorie budget, you'll miss out on great experiences if you always hide in your room
instead of eating
do your makeup
i recently just got back into doing my makeup, and let me tell you itâs a great distraction! makeup can take a long ass time depending on what youâre doing, so put on your favourite music, do your makeup, and forget about food. also after you get all prettied up, you wonât want to eat.
do your hair
if youâre doing your makeup, you should definitely be doing your hair too. doing your hair will keep your hands busy, so go experiment a little, try a different hairstyle. learn how to braid your hair if you donât know how to. also same shit, you wonât want to eat after you get all prettied up.
do some school work
if youâre in school, DO YOUR SCHOOL WORK. do your homework. if you donât have any homework, go look over some course material, and take notes. make your notes look pretty, shit can take a long time. school is the best time for distraction!
get a job
if youâre old enough, and if you donât already have one, GET A JOB. working is absolute ass, you will hate it, but you canât stuff your face if youâre working. if you work a shit minimum wage job, you will most likely be standing your whole shit, so you burn extra calories. working can keep you active!
whiten your teeth
honestly you can do any self care, but you canât eat when you have whitening strips in. whitening strips will make your teeth more sensitive, which kind of makes it harder to eat sometimes LOL. also if youâre restricting, your teeth are probably yellow, and your breath is probably harsh, so go take care of that situation.
have a fashion show
literally just go sort through your clothing, and have a little fashion show. plan out what you want to wear this month, style your clothing differently. this can be kind of depressing if you hate your body, but itâs distracting!
hey youre like an inspiration to me cause of you insane weigh loss
can you share like weight lost tips/what you did to lose weight the way you did
I feel very honored that i inspired you! :>
I never thought people would think my wl is inspiring or incredible tbh. :,)
It took me well over a year to achieve this, so it takes a bit of patience out of you!
I'm just gonna talk abt what i did and how it felt bc idk what tips to give tbh.
The best tip i can give is to always weigh your food and always count liquid cals!!
In the very beginning, i was just liquid fasting.
My first cal limit was 1k. When summer rolled around, i used that time to walk 6hrs everyday. There was also a time where i couldn't eat over 270cal specifically without bawling my eyes out, that's something i did for a few weeks too. Due to my high start weight i was experiencing things like hair loss at 77kg already. I still lose a lot of hair and it's not that obvious, but my hairline is very visible. Don't do what i did and only start taking vitamins once it happens. Do it when you start out to actually semi-prevent this issue. My current cal limit is 500 and i walk a lot on most days. Don't over do it like i did this summer. My feet and legs hurt so bad, i could barely walk at all today.
Take more than one break day a week! I get that this is a disorder, and it's hard not to be too extreme, but please take better care of yourself. At least let your body rest properly if you exercise a lot. You should try to have one big meal a week, it helps with the binging.
As someone who struggled with BED for all my life, i need to be extra careful to prevent binges. My routine is to fast until dinner because i mostly only binge around breakfast and lunch time. Try to find what triggers your binges and build a routine around that to prevent them so they're less frequent.
And one more warning.. you might get brain rot. I got progressively more stupid over the course of âď¸ving myself.đ
That's all i can think of right now. Thank you for reading!
10 observations from my 40Ib weightloss
Note: These events took place 2 years ago, I was fed up with being fat, so I lost 40Ibs in 2 months. I went from being 5kg/11Ibs overweight to being 4kg/8.8 Ibs away from being underweight. My weightloss was also a lifestyle change in many ways. ( 72kg/158Ibs -> 54kg/118Ibs ) When I lost weight, the first thing I observed was that I was being taken more seriously in general. People listened to what I had to say, without mocking me. The second thing I observed was that friends were less kind to me in general, since I had previously been the fat friend turned thinner than a good chunk of them. This manifested itself in ways such as being more frequently excluded from group conversations and being left on read in the groupchat. (The only reason they were nice with me to begin with, was because I was the comic relief fat friend) The third thing I observed was that clothes shopping went from an ordeal to an enjoyable activity, I actually felt cute for the first time in ages after losing 40Ibs, staring at my new body in the changing room. The fourth thing I noticed, was that losing weight actually motivated me to improve other areas of my life through self-control, since I actually proved to myself I was capable of achieving my goals. My room prior was a depressing shithole, (dishes everywhere, cups of pee, dirty clothes all over the floor, stains and draws stuffed with old rappers and rotting peels), I had a newfound desire to maintain a standard of cleanliness. This had the same effect on my grades and my skin. I raised my mostly C report card to a mostly A report card. and I cleared up my skin. So my ED actually transformed my life for the better. I noticed that I was being hit on more in public and online, previously it was just my friends being hit on when we went out. I was very confused when guys actually started to develop an interest in me, especially when hanging out in a group. I noticed was that I was now the thinnest sibling, and the smallest in the family. Although my siblings were very bitter about my weightloss and always tried to sabotage me and make me overeat, so that i'd be fat again. This actually strained our relationship, as we all used to bond through binging together. I observed that for the first time in a awhile, I actually felt like I had a life outside of being an underachieving binge-eating zombie living in a dump with quite bad acne. I started to come out of my shell and develop my own interests and beliefs. I actually felt like a real person. The eighth thing that changed after weightloss was my overall decrease in degenerative behaviours. I no longer had daydreams about having intercourse with anime or genshin characters. In fact, I stopped watching anime entirely and tapered off of playing genshin. I know what it's like firsthand to exist as a chronically online, smelly, antisocial, unshaven and overall disgusting, overweight loser, who only derives joy is from living vicariously through fictional characters. Another thing I noticed was that I actually developed the confidence to begin posting regularly on social media, and I enjoyed my newfound glowup intensely. I actually did my makeup and wore cute outfits for the first time in my life and I was showered with compliments, which was also a new sensation for me. The last thing I observed was that I was more in-touch with reality after totally transforming my life. back when I was fat, I unironically believed in shifting and I was stupid enough to actually try it. I also didn't see any real purpose of my life except for my hedonistic behaviours (excessive sexual fantasies, overeating, hoarding food, virtue signaling, being too lazy to do more than the bare minimum of what was required of me in school, wishing the worst for people superior to me in any way) and ironically enough, I suffered from all the 7 deadly sins except pride. I always chose short-term gratification over long-term gain, these behaviors all led to my rapid fall to rock-bottom.
being chronically ill and having an ed is NOT for the weak
some of yall gotta learn that meanspo and self deprication will only get you so far. having a mindset of "my body is digusting im a pig bla bla" is only going to set yourself up for dissapointment. if you have the mindset of "i deserve to feel happy with my body and i will do what i can to achieve that" then you will succeed.
i really wanted to binge. instead i got up and burnt 800+ cals in two hours :) im proud of myself
although my body is gonna be sore as hell in the morning lmao
starved for two days but those weeks of binging and not exercising still caught up to me i dont know why im surprised i gained
