Based on the latest archon quest….. I don’t think this theory is correct but because of the way Dottore’s other clones reached for him after he died… when someone is killed their physical body dies but their soul lives on inside irmansul at least based on what I processed during that cutscene
Um so.. the newest archon question was buns. I did like some parts of it especially with Pantalone and Dottore as well as the part with Paimon and Wanderer when they were alone and talking to each other.
Other than that, I’m so sick and tired of the power of friendship winning and I hate how Nahida burned down Iminsul and not Dottore.
Dottore’s death, however, was pretty good! As much as I love him I was satisfied with how he went out.
Also, I really don’t like either traveler (Aether or Lumine) because they’re hypocrites.
I LOVE THE PARALLEL of Liloupar’s death and Dottore’s and how they both were okay with dying because they’re immortal. ^^
Before I finish the most recent archon quest, I would like to say that Pantalone was Dottore’s friend exploring with him in the desert; the one boy that looked like Layla according to Aaru. This is a theory but I’m like 99% certain that it’s true
"Out." Voice strict and firm, his grip tightens on the metal table. Possibly creating an unnecessary dent. His back faces the lone fatui agent, unable to see his lord's impending irritation. Persistent but incredibly oblivious in interpreting the tone. How pitiful.
"I can't do that, my lord. Lord Pantalone insists on seeing you directly to discuss some matters."
"..." Dottore was irritated. No, he was incredibly fuming. This lone agent was not only brave to enter his laboratory, but to produce such unnecessary noises. Disrupting his experiment in the process.
"My lord–!" The agent took a step forward. How noisy.
The sound of slamming the tool on the metal desk echoed the entire laboratory. The agent shuddered in fear, visibly gulping but did not retract his step. Dottore did not express his displeasure through facial expression, he does through actions and his unsettling statements.
The reason why Dottore was not in the good mood right now, was he did not like any noises in his laboratory or any of his territories. The sound of machinery and any experiment related are welcomed. Other than that, it delays progress and breakthroughs. Losing focus will lead to inefficiency and error.
So sending an agent to relay messages through voice, which is something he did not like at all. Sealed letters, memorandum, The Jester or the Tsaritsa themselves and someone who deems worthy, he can only reply. So right now, Dottore wanted nothing but to 'officially' discard this agent himself.
"Disruption is unacceptable. I suppose I do require an additional test subject. You surpassed the minimum qualifications after all." Dottore said, now leaving his workbench.
But you entered at the exact time. Hands on your back and casually walking towards the commotion. You just came back from other duties and met someone with an unreadable smile and unbelievably expensive glasses during your errands. Raising an eyebrow on the fear stricken agent and the indifferent Doctor. His signature blue needles were floating, whirling with murderous intent.
"Pantalone wants his agent back, Dottore." You said as you grabbed the agent by the shoulder and pulled them back, towards the metal doors. You then swatted the needles away as if they were some flies. "But he insists on discussing an urgent matter with you this instant."
Silence filled the room. It may be terrifying to the agent, but it was comfortable between you and Dottore. His whirling needles halted and disappeared with sparks of blue, along with its ill intent. His posture relaxed yet still exhibits professionalism, he nodded. "I see."
"I'll temporarily take over your experiment until you're done. Take the agent back." You waved, now ready to take over the workbench.
"...Very well. I shall see the banker."
That alone made the agent so confused about this sudden change of attitude. Many people do not know about this but you are the only exceptional noise in any of his territories. The only one that Dottore accepts. The only one who can disrupt him or his segments. You are my noise.
But when Dottore turned, the agent was gone. Presumably, they ran to inform Pantalone about the Doctor's arrival rather than accompanying him on the way. Not that he cares anyway.
