5 Habits to Boost Self Confidence

What’s Depression-Anxiety Feels like...for real...
I’ve been battling with my head all the time...
it’s like a public market during peak hours,
having difficulty in concentrating,
no control of what’s going on,
can’t minimize the noise around me,
everyone’s so busy,
roaming through the place,
thinking everything would be alright,
all I need is to be quick,
buy what I need and go away,
calming myself isn’t always easy,
but whenever I’m able to do it,
it’s like I’ve won something prestigious,
and suddenly, I realized,
There’s a real battle going on,
all inside my head,
my head as the battlefield,
and my thoughts firing each other,
acting as troops,
with grenades ready,
planting good memories while
the other throwing bad ones,
while everything seems so busy up there,
I wonder how I can manage to think
in this situation,
and asking myself,
how do people stop a battle?
how can I stop this battle?
no answer delivered,
no one heard me,
and my head erupted,
just like a volcano,
my thoughts flowed like a melting lava,
no one can dare to touch it,
even myself,
it literally goes on a rampage,
and now other question pops in,
Why do people blame the volcano when it caused damages and swallowed their homes?
Isn’t it a “natural thing”?
that’s what we should call it, right?
no one’s to blame for it,
and why do they blame me for what I’ve become?
Isn’t it natural that I turned into a monster
after experiencing everything that they’ve done to me?
and yet, another unanswered question,
unheard voice and later got weak...
Me acting like this is part of being “HUMAN”
and it’s something very “NATURAL”
feeling depressed,
feeling insecure,
having self-pity,
being guilty,
attacked with conscience,
no self-worth...
all of these are just part of being human and it’s natural...
why are we punished for something natural just because it’s out-of-control?
I wished
I can just
walk away,
but this heart
always runs back
every time
you ask it
to stay.
