Made these mixed-media pieces in my second year of uni, and we had to incorporate a lot of traditional art and printmaking. It was messy, tiring work, made your hands sore, made your arms ache. I was really, really bad at printmaking. I thought these pieces were really stupid looking and I felt embarrassed showing them to people.

Anyway that was in 2023, when gen AI will still pretty new and easy to spot. Now when I look at these I just feel nostalgic. Everything changed so fast.

Throwback to when I was fighting in the trenches trying to break out of same face syndrome/uncanny valley and learn to design a countenance with individuality and soul

The first three are merged/averaged out paintovers of the rest. I was looking for patterns. Don't use AI just draw like 20 faces and frankenstein them together.
