“She wanted to be alone, but not lonely. That was very different; that was something that ached and hurt dreadfully right inside one.”

I have learned that when sadness comes to visit me, all I can do is say “I see you.” I spend some time with it, get up, and say goodbye. I don’t push it away. I own it. And because I own it, I let it go.
Carolina Zacaria
Sometimes suffering is just suffering. It doesn’t make you stronger. It doesn’t build character. It only hurts.

I long to go back
to the first time I said,
“I am not good enough.”
I would hold myself close,
be tender enough to
strengthen my heart,
and believe
I am worthy
today and always.
I’m learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things not meant for me.

“Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you, and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.”

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”

“It’s funny how someone who was just a stranger last year, can mean so much to you now. It’s terrible that someone who meant so much to you last year, can be just a stranger now.”

Please, do not wait to seek help until your mental health gets worse. Get help BEFORE that happens. Get help as soon as you can.
You wouldn’t wait to put gas/oil in a car until it is stranded/broken down on the highway, completely out of gas. You would fill up the tank BEFORE it reaches that point.
It is the exact same thing with your mind and body: Do not wait until you are completely burnt out to seek help. Reach out now.
I promise you, your problems are valid and reaching out is such a brave thing to do. It might seem like a very hard thing to do right now, but your future-self is already thanking you for seeking the help you need right now.
No problems/struggles are too small. If you feel like you are struggling, even just a little bit, reach out. Do not hestitate.
🌿You DESERVE the help🌿
