Thanks for the kind words anon! I’m doing fine right now physically speaking and I’ve got several pre-approvals for a mortgage, so I’m just waiting on our realtor to find us a home in our area. The housing market is crap, so I’m pretty much just stuck waiting until something pops up in our price range.

Its crazy how in the DBZ Community you're discouraged from ever exploring interesting takes on things without the wider fandom making "X never watched YZ." or you get downvoted/negrated into oblivion.

It's like you're not allowed to have any headcanons, interests or have your own takes in certain things, because why have imagination when half the community is interested in the same slop served over and over?

That's partially the reason why I seperate myself from this community, at the same time, they would praise Abridged for the same shit they hate in modern day DBZ, which I find really stupid. Let people write/enjoy and share shit they like.

Also, just because you "share things" to the internet doesn't mean you can be a dick about it, constructive criticism isn't erm actuallying someone's own personal take on shit, it's just you being an annoying contrarion for no reason other than being one. If your Concrit isn't aimed to help people improve then it's bitchiness at this point. Just stop interacting with posts that you don't agree with.

Don't say "I don't like this!" because no one cares. No need to annouce to the world your departure, this is not an airport.

So I’m still kinda homeless rn, so I’m not really able to write without a proper set up. But I have my tablet so I’m gonna try to get a few drawings done to keep myself sane. I’ve got some sketches that I wanted to finish up, so be on the look out for those.

Not the post I wanted to make, but I’m going on hiatus as far as posting chapters and artwork. I’m in the process of finding a new place to live and I don’t really have the time or mental energy to keep up with posting.

I have no timeline as to how long this will take, just that I’m hoping it won’t be more than a couple months. I’ll update here if anything changes.

I'm definitely not a fan of talking about my personal life online, but I had to let people know that I'm not dead or anything! Unfortunately life has a habit of sneaking up on you sometimes and bad things happen.

Fortunately I'm fine, but I'll be taking a bit of sabbatical and hopefully my mental health will recover enough to get my creative juices flowing again soon.

Til then, I hope you and everyone else checks out some of the other great authors and artists in the Dragon Ball space! So, this week was a week from hell for me and my family. Everything's calmed down now, but I'm pretty burnt out and exhausted, both mentally and physically. It'll probably be another week or so before I can get in the brainspace to write, but I think things will be in the upswing from this point for now.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let anyone who reads Hell Is Other People know that I won’t be able to update tomorrow and likely for a few weeks. I have a serious offline issue that I’m sorting out that I’d rather not discuss, so I apologize for that. But I’m not sure if the timeline of resolution so I don’t want to give anyone a specific date.
