What if Absolute Vodka launched a campaign to inspire politicians to seek better solutions to modern global challenges?
TVC “German Prophet”
Open on a man looking like Karl Marx. He is holding a bottle of beer talking to the camera:
Imagine it is 2025. The world is plunged into global trade wars. All of today's economic and political treaties are broken. An arms race between the USA, Russia and China threatens the world with a nuclear kaboom. The European Union is on the verge of falling apart. Markets are highly politicized and fragmented. Consumers are divided on many political issues. Liberals vs nationalists, pacifists vs war-mongers, those who want to 'leave' vs those who want to 'stay'. Moreover, there is a widespread disillusionment with traditional public stewards like governments and non-profit organizations. People are turning to private industries to solve social problems and create a better world.
He takes a swig of beer and continues:
Buying products becomes a popular social instrument to nudge brands to do more. Not only to be 'friends of clean lakes and forests', but also 'friends of world peace', 'social justice', 'democracy'.... In short, 'buying' becomes similar to 'voting'. Backed by millions of consumers, influential brands begin to compete with politicians. They start to form coalitions and 'shadow' governments.
Faced with the new competition, traditional governments and political institutions are forced to stop warring and start seeking new agreements. New social contracts are made to reduce the gap between rich and poor. Social tension and crime start to disappear. Humanity enters a new era of harmony and prosperity.
He pauses and raises his beer bottle:
Cheers to that!
He takes another swig of beer, then with a broad smile looks at the bottle in his hand and adds:
Good brands of the world, unite!
Cut on Close-Up of the beer bottle.
What if pensioners had an option to live in a specially designed theme-residensies that reminded them of their youth time? For example, an environment with food, music, TV, clothes, entertainment and technological gadgets matching the 70 - 80's era.
Conceptually, these retro residencies are designed to be 40-50 years behind the contemporary culture, gradually to be 'upgraded' to keep the time gap. For example, in 2030 the historical theme would match 1980 -90's.
In the future, the concept of fashion will be radically different. Our current self-expression by means of clothing will appear obsolete, boring and superficial. Instead, a new kind of self-expression illuminating our true selves will take place - our personal essence and energies, aka our auras. The role of clothes will be reduced to mere practicality and their decorative value will be minimal. In the future, we will focus on transmitting our (creative) personality by enhancing and manipulating light coming from our bodies. Our auras convey information about our emotional and mental states, give clues about our true character and traits. New technologies will allow our energies to be visible to the naked eye as well as to control the radiance and colours. Note, we will also learn to distinguish authentic auras from artificial ones. Besides that, the new 'fashion' culture will help us to learn more about our true selves (and others) as well as inspire us for deeper personal development.

'AbEx' is a new premium alcoholic beverage with an artistic twist.
The concept:
'AbEx' stands for 'Abstract Expressionism'.
Once you twist the bottle's cap, it injects a natural edible ink into the beverage to create dynamic abstract visuals. The aesthetic show lasts about 1-3 minutes and after that, it's 'bottoms up!'.
The inks are made from highly concentrated pigments of natural plants that are also well-known for their outstanding health benefits.
Project EUtopia - an alternative and anti-fragile vision of the European Union.
Problem:
The world rapidly shifts towards multipolarity, both in politics and economy. In this time of global 'perestroika', the EU is facing multiple stressors that threaten the union. From the outside, the EU faces political and economic wars, from the inside - a growing pressure from member states for bigger political and economic freedoms. The system that holds the union together has reached a level of complexity where it is becoming increasingly unstable and fragile. In times of global turbulence, big complex centralized systems tend to collapse under incremental stresses and random Black Swan events.
This is exactly what we see today happening to capitalism and the status quo of global order. The stresses to the European system, that was created 80 years ago, are set to increase. Thus, the European Union, in order to withstand the turbulence needs to reform itself and become anti-fragile. In other words, it has to become decentralized and structured like the internet.
Solution:
Imagine Europe as one country without national borders and national governments. Let's call it EUtopia. Instead of national governments, EUtopia has three multinational governments that represent the three sovereign and conceptually different from each other socio-economic domains. All three domains are virtual and transnational. They represent three different concepts of happiness which the citizens of EUtopia are free to choose and pursue. For example, let's call the domains 'Capitalistan', 'Socialistan' and 'Archaistan'.
From an economic perspective, these domains respectively represent 'Fast Growth Economy' (free markets), 'Slow Growth Economy' (planned) and 'Zero Growth/Conservation' (artisanal). From socio-psychological perspective Capitalistan is best suited for citizens who enjoy living fast, compete and work hard for money, Socialistan offers less monetary wealth, but more security, stability and social equality and Archaistan attracts people who reject the previous two and instead find happiness living in self-sustainable, experimental communities.
All citizens of EUtopia can freely choose their domain membership and migrate from one eco-system to another. Becoming a member of a domain is similar to signing a contract, aka subscribing to the rules, values and principles of a particular domain. A breach of the contract may result in revoking the membership. Being a member of a domain also puts you under its legal protection. The domain contracts can span from a couple years to permanent 'residency'.
Just like people of different faith in a modern society pay their membership fees to their prospective religious organizations (Christians, Muslim, Jewish, etc.), so the citizens of EUtopia respectively pay taxes to the governments of their domains. When a contract with a certain domain expires one can renew it or apply for membership in a different one. This allows membership fluidity and competition between the eco-systems.
The three smaller independent socio-economic systems within one country, instead of one big standard system, follow the thermo-dynamic principle - when one system fails, the other makes progress. In other words, domains are the 'eggs' placed in different baskets. This makes EUtopia anti-fragile.
EUtopia, with its three diverse socio-economic domains, doesn't have a central government but is overviewed by a special AI protocol. The role of the computer is to prevent any intervention of one domain into another. Put simply, Capitalism, Socialism and Polynesian archaism with open borders all under one roof.
The benefits.
1. Solves the major problem of democracy, aka there's no 'majority' vs. 'minority' anymore, which minimizes social tension and crime within the society.
2. The end of socio-political messianism: each domain has an opportunity to develop its maximum potential, compete for human resources and create their own version of perfect future.
3. Breaking one big system into 3 smaller systems provides robust protection against collapse, aka if one domain declines the others increase (thermodynamics).
Background:
People are aware of the downside of a constant 'looking-on-phone-screens', especially when outdoors. So, why doesn't this awareness stop them from unplugging? Because it's like an addiction and for "addicts" health warnings, scare tactics or advertising doesn't work. The solution should be a practical incentive to break out of the habit.
The idea:
"Offline miles" is a free mobile app that pauses smartphone's online apps while tracking the phone's physical movement in real time. The recorded distances are called 'offline miles' and work as a bonus program similar to the 'air miles' for plane passengers.
How it works:
Press the 'offline miles' button when going outside (office, home, etc.). All 'disruptive' functions of the phone are disabled, only 'geolocation' works, which lets the app track your movement outdoors and count your physical miles/km. The more 'offline miles' you generate, the greater the reward.
The 'offline miles' program should work with partner brands (i.e. travel, sports, hotels, etc.) Once you collect your minimum of the 'offline miles' you can exchange them for perks from brand partners, for instance, 10% off outdoor equipment, hotel bookings, plane tickets and etc.
Benefits for partner brands:
Targeted marketing, brand promotion of products and services.
Benefits for people:
They get a tool that encourages them to stay offline when moving around outdoors, i.e. driving or walking. It addresses issues of safety as well as real-life interaction.
The past, the present and the future.
Problem:
Duty-Free smuggling is steadily increasing each year reaching its peaks during the holiday seasons. More people get caught and pay fines. More money is spent on catching the smugglers.
Solution:
"DutyFreeGenie" is a mobile crowd shopping app that makes duty-free smuggling practically unnecessary.
This is how it works:
For example, John wants to buy more than 50 (the limit) duty-free cigars. Peter wants to get more than 1 bottle (the limit) of whiskey. Jane doesn't want to buy anything. All three have the app. John and Peter place their orders, one for cigars and another one for whiskey. Peter doesn't smoke, so he agrees to buy cigars for John. John, in return, agrees to buy for Peter whiskey. Jane doesn't need anything to buy for herself but is willing to use her duty-free allowance to help John and Peter. She buys cigars for John, a whiskey for Peter and receives from both of them a reward. To sum up. When Peter, John and Jane meet outside the airport, Peter has 3 allowances of whiskey (3 litres), John has 3 allowances of cigars (150) and Jane gets 2 credits for helping them.
This is a concept for a mobile phone app that helps the undecided to make a decision. It works as a psycho-digital oracle and randomly provides four possible answers to any given question.
BACKGROUND:
Since its 2009 founding, nearly 104,000 projects have successfully raised more than $2.3 billion on Kickstarter. It produced hundreds of new successful brands and hundred thousands of new products. Today we have more than 2,000 Global Crowdfunding sites to choose from and the trend is set to grow.
THE IDEA:
Imagine a Kickstarter-like platform with investors being the existing brands. This means that independent creatives can pitch their new product ideas directly to the brands! And most importantly, every new product funded and released on the market will feature a logo of the investor.
BRANDVESTA is the world's first funding platform where investors are brands and creators are the branders.
This is how it works:
For example, you have an idea for a new product. It could be a digital or a physical product. You publish the idea on Brandvesta platform with the amount of money needed for the production. If a brand-investor decides to back it, you get the money and produce your product. However, in return, your produced product will feature the investor's logo.
Now, if there are more then one brand interested to invest in your product idea, they have to compete against each other like on auctions - the highest bidder wins!
1. Why not build giant swings and make it the car’s playground?
2. Or let it drive on a deck of Navy aircraft carrier during a storm?
The future of pharma?
Imagine it's 2050 AD on the planet earth, the majority of the population are semi-cyborgs, AI, VR and nanochips are everywhere...the general public’s fatigue with the ‘digital utopia’ is growing.
As a result, a new type of technology is emerging and it's pretty much 'anti-cyborg'. It may be called AHI or Authentic Human Intelligence. Instead of developing external props and gadgets AHI aims to empower people from within, on a biochemical level. In other words, AHI is a new visionary concept that focuses on the evolution of human psyche, not the intelligence of machines.
When it comes to AI or VR, the words 'artificial' or 'virtual' don't sound 'good-enough' anymore. There is a demand for 'authentic experience'. Pharma companies begin to compete with digital simulations. For example, using ‘entheogenic’ technology they make psychoactive products that are capable to design controlled hallucinations in the human brain to provide authentic immersive experiences on demand.
Moreover, pharma industry moves beyond the traditional medicinal market into areas of education, communication and personal development.
What if Johnnie Walker produced shoes with embossed sole capable to leave tracks with the brand’s slogan?
What if we replace the usual public toilet graffiti with mythological glyphs from the Dogon’s mystery system?
