I peaked maybe 2 or 3 years ago because I searched Blaire White on tumblr. I saw a post by sapphsorrows that referred to him with male pronouns, got very interested because Blaire is so "passing". I thought, huh, why would someone go out of their way to use a non intuitive pronoun? Then in a 3 day span I read that entire blog top to bottom. I'd been IDing as trans for 13+ years, had never thought that deeply about it because to me my masculinity meant I was "male brained" (jerking it to big boob oil massage videos was all the proof of maleness that I needed i guess lmao). I was detransitioned in a span of 4 hours. It was very jarring. Everything just suddenly made complete sense. I had never encountered these ideas before, and the moment I did, I was deprogrammed. I got accused of being radicalised by my trans social network at the time: all I can say to that is, you don't get radicalised in 4 hours. All it took was just... reading and the mindset "ok, how does the world look if I assume I believe this argument, for the sake of intellectual honesty. What if trans women are men?" And bam. Suddenly it all clicks. The whole movement makes sense if they're men. Because they are. All I had to do was encounter and entertain the idea for an hour or two.
