“Well, it takes some nefariousness to best the cleverest of birds.” Akira said slyly, waving the bar in front of Goro’s face. “Or ya know. A nice smile and fluffy hair. Whatever distracts best.” He smiled, tapping Akechi’s chest.

❝ A distraction? Is that what this was supposed to be? Because, if that’s the case. . . ❞ He had been too comfortable staying cooped up in his own little nest this past week. It hadn’t been until Akira complained to him about having cramps and everyone else being busy that it occurred to him that he should probably get out of his apartment. ❝ I appreciate it. ❞
