So… why have I never seen a gif of Tatiana Maslany on Starfleet Academy when she’s literally the first face we see?

I know it’s a short scene but she should have been plastered everywhere!

I did actually make a gifset of her back when the trailer came out, but it never got much attention. This gif links back to it:

It does feel a little weird that we haven’t really heard anything more about Anisha Mir, not even a little bit. My guess is they’re putting off finding her until next season and don’t want to move up the storyline but they’re doing it so poorly that it makes everyone on the show feel uncaring. Like the Caleb of episode one and two would not just let them not making any progress on it slide. Like Nahla’s so morally complicated that it could be argued (successfully) that it’s intentional because she’s not actually looking for Caleb’s mom But i just don’t get that feeling from the writing. Mainly cause Caleb isn’t as worried as he was.

Tatiana has only been confirmed for season 1, but Jonathan Frakes, who directed episode 9, just recently confirmed that she'll be heavily featured in that! It comes out on March 5, so we know when to expect her to return, although she might appear before that already.

#I KNEW IT WAS HER #May or may not watch this but good to know my girl tmas still out here slaying

She is REALLY good in this movie! The script is kind of weak and lacks depth, but Tat makes up for it with her performance. I think it's worth watching for her alone. She carried this whole movie on her back, along with the cinematography and creature effects!

If horror isn't for you though, she has 9 other projects coming out soon that we can look forward to, 7 of which were filmed this year. Our sestra remains booked and busy!
