It's kinda funny. In Bridgerton Season 1, a prince of Preußen wanted to marry a daughter of a mere english Viscount. That's a morganatic marriage and German prince would surely lose his inheritance rights in real life. the class difference apparently wasn't an issue in the first season. And in Season 4, it suddenly is. Everybody is talking about how society was like back then but like this is a fantasy show after all. And what about season 1? If we talk about social rule of the time, morganatic marriage is much more unlikely than Viscount's second son marrying a illegitimate child of an Earl, I believe. There was Battenberg case but still.

I know it is all for the plot and story. Inconsistency is kinda funny. I love Season 4 btw. Sophie is such a lovely character and Yerin is a phenomenal actress.

Off topic. I lost my cat last January. another winter came and I think of her more often. I miss her so much. The memory of cuddling with her and feeling her life slowly slipping away feels so vivid. Two days before her passing, we watched the snowfall together. I know I am going to cry when this season's first snow falls.
