@sethstelle
It has been way too long, I guess the purpose of a blog is to tell all the adventures you're in and I left it behind for months.
The reason, we moved in Los Angeles and we're living here now. I didn't really realized it until a few days ago. This is where we live. Our home as much as I like it, is here. (We definitely need to move into a new apartment...) But yeah, we're LA people ? Six months. Still believing in our dreams, still working on making them happen. And today it feels great. Yesterday it felt terrible, and it's like that every day, I mean the roller coaster of humors and feelings. This is how this city makes me feel. And I think it's the same for Seth, and I surely don't help him because I have a hard time handling it.
Not sure we have friends here, but friendship is a long process. The only thing is to really find who we can trust. One day, we'll move from here to a more affordable place where we can create our own and special place. And I can't wait. We'll actually be able to save money to travel (so I can see my family more often hopefully, back in Europe) and we'll have the creative space, the nature, the simplicity and authenticity. It's what I need and what I miss. I don't think I'll ever like this city, but I surely love my home. And as we all know this true and beautiful phrase "Home is wherever I'm with you"
Seth is home, even tho he shaved his beard.
Keeping busy over here, living in LA is tough, we are still trying to figure things out, but I think we like it here a little more everyday... Maybe not.
We almost left yesterday to go on a roadtrip to Georgia... I still secretly think we should of.
The shop, the naked cat, music, art, food, cost of life, making new friends, having visit in our little home, going to weddings of friends out of state, having a phone, make it harder to stay focus.
Having the phone especially, I became what I always hated: A PHONE ADDICT. I will try to cut it out and fountain coke too. I'll try.
And Seth will be happy about it !
A month that we are officially in Los Angeles, two weeks that we are officially leaving in Los Angeles, almost two months that we got back from Europe, almost a year that we got married. Life is fun often, hard sometimes, sad a lot, but always good.
We've unfortunately grown up a little Seth and I, even though we still just want to be kids and we still are. Our team expanded, now we are three, my lucky number. The third is probably the most stinky one (and craziest) but especially the coolest. Too cool for this world and I'm so glad we have her. Also really glad we finally have a cute little apartment (not so glad about all the bugs around) but we are happy. Vitamin sun in our face everyday, can't wait to ride the motorcycle to the beach.
We are in the californian dream
when we were
when we were in Europe; when we were in Brussels, we didn't eat mussels... Wait, did we ? I don't remember anymore, but what I remember is that Seth did ate at least two waffles per day. He did enjoy all the brick buildings at least as much as I did. We had a weird weather and the last day at the airport for our fly back to Geneva, well, we almost missed it because of being too early for the boarding and for eating candies like fatties. Staying on a tent on the outside of an old soap factory turned into a loft was a great idea. We enjoyed it so much. Brussels felt like home for a few days and this memory will always be there, with us.
