I see my mistake
the hymn of renenutet
I will make the Nile swell for you, without there being a year of lack and exhaustion in the whole land, so the plants will flourish, bending under their fruit. The land of Egypt is beginning to stir again, the shores are shining wonderfully, and wealth and well-being dwell with them, as it had been before.
Dua Set! Mighty god of the storm!
I praise you with each clap of thunder!
Praise to you strong arm!
He who defends Ra!!
The ceiling of the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, decorated with exquisite astronomical representations. It is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt.
I’ve been working on this one for too long, but that tends to happen when it comes to designs I’ve had in my head for years. When it comes to finally getting it down on paper, trying to find the design that looks closes to how I imagine it is tough, and I get so picky with even the smallest of details.
But here he is. I’m still think his design is a work in progress but I like where it going. Anpu/Anubis is one of my favorite Ancient Kemetic( Egyptian) gods so it was both a pleasure and a pain to work on him. My headcanon, he is quiet, thoughtful, and serious. Centuries of peering into the hearts of man has given him a unique point of view among the deities, and many of them go to him just to hear his opinion on their squabbles and concerns. Though he usually gives off a cold demeanor, his friendliness is second to none and those who call him friend find their lives are better for it. He also has an amazing singing voice.

Nut, the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, wife to Geb. A gift for my grandmother ❤
You may use this image as an icon, please just give me credit!
[Image: art of Nut as a humanoid figure with blue-purple skin and dark blue hair. Her hair is straight and shoulder length, blowing slightly forward. She wears a crown with horns and the moon, large circular gold earrings, and a gold collar. In the background is the night sky with stars and pink and purple lights. Across her face is superimposed a constellation, but I don’t recognize it. In the lower middle of the image is the word “Kipachie” in white text with a white box around it. End.]
Working on some Ra devotional art, 10x10 300 dpi.
Maybe the first in a series???
[Image: sketch-style art of Ra as a falcon-headed man with a sun and ureaus crown, and an ankh hanging from the crown on a chain. One hand is held up as though gesturing, and a red sun - the only coloured object in the image - is in the background. End.]

Little 3x5 inch watercolor painting of Wadjet with some jasmine flowers! This is a smaller, simpler version of a digital painting I’m working on.

Introduction!
Hello! My name’s Bella and I’m a Kemetic pagan hoping to meet some other Kemetics on Tumblr! I am a devotee of Sekhmet, Bast-Mut, and Ra (but I’m willing to talk about any of the gods!). If anyone’s ever interested, I offer free tarot readings. If you like my reading, and want to support me, please buy me a coffee on Ko-Fi!
If any other Kemetics could please like or reblog this post so I can meet and follow you guys, that would be great!
My inbox and DMs are always open! So don’t be afraid to stop in and say hi 😃
Hi! I’m a Shemsu in Kemetic Orthodoxy - child of Hethert-Sekhmet and Set, Beloved of Heru-wer and Yinepu
Praise to you, great Netjeru. To Your presence in our lives. To the hands that hold us when we are weak. To the strength You impart. And the prayers You hear. Light our way in the darkest times. For you are pure. We are pure. Our hearts are in Ma'at.
Always,
Iseqi
Daughter of Amun-ra and Set
Beloved of Hethert-Sekhmet and Heru-Wer

Are there simple rites I can do? I often don’t have spoons and I’m in the closet as far as spirituality but I do wanna put forth some kind of effort? Thanks to everyone who offers suggestions
If you have a space where you can be alone for a bit, you could try just lighting a candle (or electric candle if you can’t have fire), setting out a bit of water and/or some food, and just meditating or talking to the deities you are interested in doing something for.
If you have a little more privacy, you could recite some prayers for them too, but just talking about your day and meditating a bit can be nice
Bast-Mut of Texas - Regional Gods
When I considered regional gods, I had this flash of inspiration that I HAD to draw Mom in bluebonnets.
