RIP to the Queen. 😢 I just listened to an interview she did with NPR on Sunday, so I was heartbroken to hear this news yesterday.

Cicely Tyson started modeling at THIRTY, after working for the Red Cross. She then began acting in her mid forties, starring in “Sounder” at 48 years old. In her interview with NPR, she said she knew she had to act to give voice to others that people don’t see or listen to. Talk about an inspiration!
