“Christ, warming spells my ass,” Adeline muttered under her breath as she shivered in her dress. She looked around, hoping to spot somewhere indoors that wasn’t packed. She had been in The Three Broomsticks but she could barely move in there. As she was looking, she spotted a familiar face, “Oh, hey Seung.”

“Adeline,” Seung greeted the other with a nod. “You okay in there? You look a bit... cold,” he observed after a brief moment. “It would suck to start the new year with a runny nose,” he added. Seung absolutely hated being sick and whenever he was feeling under the weather, it did feel as if the world was going to end.

“You practically dragged me out of there. Did you want my company that badly?” Fred couldn’t resist teasing Seung as he straightened out his suit and took in long lungful’s of air after being stuck in the stuffy area. “I get the urgency for making your way out of there though. It was pretty stifling.

"You know how easily bored I get, didn’t want to risk getting into trouble,” Seung replied, smiling cheekily. If left to his own devices, it was rather probable that he could come up with some dumb plan to entertain himself. At least with Fred there he had someone to keep an eye on him.

“I’ll only be giving away kisses just before midnight and till then I’m going to drink and dance until I can no longer feel my legs. Are you in or are you in? During a party like that there’s no other answer,” Molly grinned cheekily and reached out to grab the other by the hand and drag them onto the dancefloor.

“Do you actually have a list this year or will you just kiss some random people?” Seung raised an eyebrow, firmly standing his ground and not moving an inch. He raised his drink, showing Molly that he needed to finish it first. He knew perfectly well how easy it was to bump into someone and ruin their outfit and he did not plan for it to happen to him.

“Huh– shit…” Axel exclaimed in a fearful stammer before holding his hands up as though they’d protect him against whatever – or whoever rather – had come at him all of a sudden. “Holy Helga– don’t do that to me. I could’ve sworn you were trying to give me a heart attack.”

"You must be afraid of your own shadow,” Seung teased. He didn’t look particularly scary, even though he did not a couple of people flinching when they noticed him. He didn’t know much about his costume as he couldn’t be bothered with looking for something on his own and just let his friend pick whatever she thought was fun.

“Honestly I don’t know how it’s taken me this many years to do this costume.” Penelope tutted at herself, looking into her compact mirror as she reapplied her lipstick. “Barbie is a fashion icon after all, that and I tend to be a sucker for going blonde on Halloween- so, how do I look?” She asked once she had finished turning around with a flourish.

"It’s a wonder your costumer is not shiny enough to hurt my eyes,” Seung commented, looking the other up and down. “And it a shame your boyfriend couldn’t be bothered and looks like a homeless person. You’re too stunning to be partying with him,” he added matter-of-factly.

“Oh baby,” Molly crooned and reached out to pat him on the cheek. “I’m sure so far only idiots have approached you. Your fans will be here soon, don’t you worry your pretty little head. And since they’re a bit late, we should just get drinks and have fun,” she added, putting her arm around his shoulders.

He put his arm around Molly’s waist, giving her a brief hug. “I do love you, you know that?” Seung was thankful his friend always knew what to say and do to cheer him up. He had been feeling down for quite some time now, but he could almost forget about it whenever Molly was around.

“Watch what?” Astrid turned around to look at the other. “You can do better, that’s all I’m saying. Especially with a face like that,” she winked.

"I’m good right now, thanks for your concern,” he huffed in reply. Seung knew he could get just about anyone, but that didn’t mean he would let anyone say Joshua was not handsome enough.

I get it when it comes to ones about the Death Eaters, they’re evil and should be portrayed as such but this one is about local athletes. Also, I feel like there was a severe lack of fact checking. You play quidditch right? You know these guys?” Octavia asked, handing him the newspaper.

Seung sighed loudly after he had a brief look at the article. “You know, in entertainment business they say that any publicity is great, no matter if it’s good or bad, but in sport that stuff is black and white. I hope those guys can prove it’s all just bullshit,” he muttered.

"I’ve already stopped counting how many people asked me for my father’s autograph,” Seung sighed loudly as he approached his friend. “As if I’m not famous enough for them,” he complained and rolled his eyes at how ridiculous that sounded.

“I’m not even going to ask how many pints of Ben & Jerry’s you’ve gone through already,” Vera remarked, although there wasn’t much humor to her tone. She was much too busy being worried about Seung and how he was feeling. “I didn’t come empty-handed though, you know me,” she said, walking further into the apartment and holding up bags filled with snacks and alcohol. 

"Good, I lost count anyway,” Seung muttered. He wasn’t exactly proud of himself, but ice cream were one of a few things that made him feel a little bit better. “If you need comfy pants, you can take a pair. And we don’t need glasses, do we? I can’t be bothered to get up,” he added. There was a mess all around him, but he was going to clean it up eventually, maybe just not that day.

“I don’t want to make you feel worse, but you know I can’t stay quiet. You’re looking like shit and it’s not a good look,” Molly commented after a couple of minutes passed since she had entered Seung’s flat. “You were honest with me back in the day so it’s only fair I tell you the truth now. And you also know what I’m going to suggest, so get yourself ready and let’s go, there’s no time to waste.”

Seung groaned loudly from his spot on the sofa and did not move an inch. “I need another month or so before I can go out,” he mumbled. “Feel free to come back then to tell me off and then I promise I’ll listen. Now I just want you to pity me,” he added.

“I hope you brought ice cream because I don’t have any left,” Seung grumbled from his couch when he heard someone enter. There were only a few who had spare keys to his place, so hopefully someone had figured out he would all the snacks and booze.

“You’re simping over him?” Astrid said, taking the phone from the other to examine the picture more closely. “Merlin. The standards over here are so much fucking worse than I thought.“ 

"Watch it,” Seung hissed, pulling the phone closer to him. His little heart was still quite sore after Joshua left and he still needed his daily dose of staring at his gorgeous face. It was also obvious that he was very protective and would go after anyone who sad anything bad about his boyfr-... ex-boyfriend.

“Well I won’t be bowling anytime soon, or writing, even video games are going to be difficult since this is my good arm.” Finn joked, knowing that the only way he was going to feel better about all of this is if he joked about it. “But I’m going to heal and hopefully be back on the pitch before you know it.”

"Well, here’s hoping you’ll have some help with other important activities,” Seung gave the other a pointed look. “Who could’ve thought that she’ll do such a number on you.. Well, once you’re back, I can’t promise I’l be any gentler,” he chuckled.
