As sad as I am to say it, I’m reluctantly unstanning stray kids.
All of the little incidents have just sort of piled up for me and I just a) am too exhausted and b) have too many doubts to stay in the fandom.
I’ve been a loyal stay for a long time and I’m not condemning any of the members, it’s just that I personally can’t help but feel a little uneasy these days. Continuing to believe in your idols when the situation is ambiguous or forgive them when there are mitigating factors are totally valid choices as a fan, and I respect that.
This was my first ever blog and most of my posts were laughably bad, but I’ll be leaving the very few that I haven’t deleted up. I’m going to keep kpop blogging on my newer account, hopefully with improved skills!
Skz have been my bias group since pre-debut three years ago, and I’ve poured an enormous amount of time into being their fan, so this is no small deal for me. It’s probably something that I’ll have to ease myself out of gradually with time, and that’s cool.
Lastly, thank you dearly to all of the friends and moots I met on this blog! My time in the fandom was really special to me, and I hope that skz only continues to become all the more successful.
