His side of the dormitory was in disarray. His bed sheets were in a heap on the floor, the contents of his trunk spilled everywhere. Seungri emerged from the clutter with a defeated look. He couldn’t find it. Glancing over to his roommate, he inquired, attempting to keep his tone even rather than edging on desperate, “Potter, do you know if the houseelves have come by to clean today?” He would never accuse them of stealing his possessions, but maybe they had accidentally found it and put it back on someone else’s designated part of the room.Â

it’d been a tough game, and an even tougher loss. no one liked to lose, especially not the first game of the season, but there was plenty of time to come back and dorian wasn’t one to dwell on losses so much as plan for the next win. and he had enough friends on the other team that he didn’t mind celebrating their win—even when it meant his loss. that didn’t mean he wanted to be the center of the party, right now, though. “nah, nah, i don’t think i’m up for a dance right now—-gotta stake a claim on this chair for the rest of the night, i think.”
"That’s a shame because I was hoping we could do the salsa together,” Seungri jested at the older Gryffindor. He imagined there were no real hard feelings between the two of them after a lost game. There were, after all, far more pressing matters where they worked together rather than opposing sides like they did on the pitch. Taking a seat next to Dorian, he proclaimed, “I’ll claim this one then, if you don’t mind. I’d rather not dance either and I think I heard some Slytherins mention tossing me into the lake. They will probably try to pass it as some celebratory ritual but I’m not buying it.”

yuna hesitated at the entrance, already bothered by what little she could hear through the door. parties weren’t exactly her thing. being crowded, peer pressured, surrounded by drunken people was more like what she had to deal with at home but slytherin had won the first game of the year. however before she could even make the choice herself, the door opened and a group of upperclassmen had already ushered her in out of their way. though it seemed as soon as she’d stepped inside a drink was pushed into her hand. “wait, i –” she shook her head, extremely thankful that this was the UK and not home, as she tried to give it back. “i’m just…looking for my sister–”
The drink was snatched from Yuna’s hands and placed in front of the one who had offered it as Sengri stood as a shield between the two. “She doesn’t want it. Maybe you should ask next time,” he suggested forcibly, waiting for the other to leave before he turned to Yuna. Adrenaline was thrumming through him, simmering down after a won game. He hadn’t drank much yet nor had he been planning to. “The last time I saw Anna, she was with the eldest Potter. I can help you search for her, if you want.” With her in the room, he was already on edge, tension seeping back into his shoulders. He kept a respectable enough distance away from her, yet his posture was clearly protective in case any of the other more belligerent, drunk students got any ideas.Â
marziayaxley:
“People like you are nothing more than freaks of nature. Something that shouldnt be possible in the first place.” Marzia sneered at him. “Muggle should not be able to produce magical children. And you shouldn’t keep the thought that there is nothing that we can do. There is plenty that we can do.” She said before turning back to the potion that she was working on.Â
"Is that all you’ve got?” Seungri inquired with a cluck of his tongue. He continued with his own brewing as he continued, not about to relent and let Marzia have the last word, “We are obviously more than possible. We exist and are sitting right beside you. You can’t remove us, no matter your feeble attempts to do so. Your intimidation tactics are weak and your wars on us have never ended well for you lot. When will you give up already? If magical blood is so sacred, you would think you’d hesitate before spilling it for a lost cause.”Â
marziayaxley:
Marzia scoffed at his words. Really she was tired of people like Seungri thinking that they were anything even close to equal with her. “You are wrong about that. this playing field as you call it, is not level and you can not ever hope to be able to successfully compare yourself to me. You are a disgrace to the Slytherin house and Salazar Slytherin would be horrified if he knew that filth like you was even allowed to be in his great house.”Â
Seungri was accustomed to being seen as the scum beneath someone’s boot, coming from the gutter like he did. But that did not mean that he had to constantly endure the barrage of insults that were thrown his way. “Is that right? Good. I would want him to be horrified. He even went as far as putting a snake in the castle that could kill people like me on sight and yet we’re still here. In this school, in his House, and there’s nothing that he -- or you -- can do about that. You can call me filth all you want, but it’s bigots like you that are the ugly stain of the wizarding world. You've got nothing that I don’t have. I have the same magic that runs through your blood and that just really irks you, doesn’t it? Must really devalue your special snowflake status.”
marziayaxley:
It was fairly clear that Marzia wasn’t thrilled to have had to stay after with the muggleborn that she knew only because of them being in the same house and year. Of course she didn’t know any personal things about him because she basically refused to associate with muggleborns, especially ones that were put into Slytherin. That was something that she despised fully. She had been doing her best to at least pretend that the other wasn’t there while she worked, mostly so she didn’t cause some kind of an explosion. But when the other spoke up she was, more or less, forced to acknowledge that the other was there. “What aren’t able to even get your own ingredients?” She mocked as she moved the Essence of Comfrey  closer to the other.
Maybe it was playing with fire, but Seungri had been forged in the flames. All his life, others had played games with him. Shouldn’t it be allowed for him to return the favor? He didn’t want to appear meek, easy to bully and manipulate as if he was a pawn. That was how it had always been, being preyed upon by others. After the Dark Mark had been seared onto Hogwarts’ entrance, Seungri had decided that enough was more than enough. He wouldn’t just defend himself. He would stand toe to toe with those who wished to oppress him, play their game by initiating moves of his own. Taking the vile in hand, Seungri leaned closer to Marzia. “Thanks. I am capable, you see. Just as capable as you, actually,” he declared pointedly, “After all, here we are, in the same school, same House, same year, same room, doing the same thing.” He gestured from his brew to hers. “On a level playing field.”
moonyvna:
yuna wasn’t sure how long he’d been there but it seemed as though he’d been sleeping for a while. after the attack even she wasn’t keen on wandering off by herself– yet he’d managed to sneak off and sleep out in the open. “–the game starts in fifteen minutes.” she spoke as soon as she’d walked up, stooping down beside of him reaching to brush the fallen leaves off of his cloak. “you were planning on going right?”
Seungri was always quick to rouse from sleep, pulled from it with ease at the familiar voice. Instead of sitting up, however, he merely angled his body to the side to face her, hand ducked under his head as it brushed against the bark. “I was planning on it, yeah. Though missing a scrimmage wouldn’t be the worst of things, if you were planning to keep me company, Miss Yuna.”
@marziayaxley
Marzia Yaxley was far from his choice of companion in the after-hours in the potions laboratory, despite them being house and yearmates. The muggleborn student was not afraid, but he was suspect of every pureblood that crossed his path after last weekend and Marzia had never held her tongue on such matters. “Mind passing me the Essence of Comfrey?” He indicated to the cabinet nearest her where the ingredient was.Â
Seung Ri had sought solitude, a hard thing to find at Hogwarts. Considering that he theorized that a good half of the student population were secretly half-vampire considering how pale and seemingly adverse to sunlight they were (honestly, he didn’t understand how his housemates could tolerate spending too long of a time in their dungeon dorms), he assumed that his best bet was to perch himself against a tree not too far from the Quidditch pitch. He wanted to sneak in a quick nap before the game that afternoon.Â
