MakerCamp Day 11
On #day11 we had a short session on Arduino in the morning where I also learned more about Arduino and what cool things you can make with it. Straight after that there was a session on 3d printing and how you can learn making the 3d models. After lunch we then started working on our projects and a man from the company feelthebeat who would help us also work on our projects by giving his knowledge about product management and project management.
#day10 was the day we learned more about processing, soldering and github (https://github.com/seven11nash/). The first thing of the day was soldering with a French guy who came all the way from his French hackerspace just for the party (#day8) and to help us learn more about soldering. Second there was a github workshop where we learned how to use github in the most effective manner and what tricks you can use to influence someone else's project. After lunch there was a small amount of time to work on our project and then at 4pm we had another creative coding class where I started work on my CGen Game (https://github.com/seven11nash/Processing.SquaregenGame).
MakerCamp Day 9
Today (Monday) we are all back and rested for a new week of finding ideas on a project we would like to work on. Also there was a talk about making a startup without tach knowledge which was very interesting and informative. The rest of the day people were looking at the projects they had chosen (I hadn't), while I was wondering around trying to find one. After Lunch the guy from Fritzing came over to talk to each and every one of us about our projects and what the futures for it are. He also gave me inspiration to make a game and that is one of my projects today (#day11)
PARTY!!!!
the party (#day8) was a wonderful experience! We had to get loads done in the 7 hours we had time, but we managed and there were more than 100 people who came.
Another great thing about it was all the workshops we got to do/take part in, for example the soldering workshop and the 3d printing workshop. Finally the bad thing was that at 11pm the police came to shut the party down, even though it should have lasted till 2am.
#day7 the day before the party! We got a lot done today and it was amazing seeing the team work together this well. We set up a bunch of tables and benches to get as much preparation done as possible for tomorrows workshop. Also we set up bars, a chilling area, the entrance, and more. I believe we can make this party happen and that we can make the people who attend it very happy!

#day6 of the maker camp was very successful. You can see we are getting organised way better and we know are only a couple days away from the MakerParty! We have made 2 more tables, including one for the djays and their equipment, a bench and one more seat. Also we did some cleaning up so now the container and the outside part are better for work.
For day7 I hope to finish up everything that needs to be finished, due too the party being on day8. This includes finalising the container and the outside part, building up stands, getting a plan for our workshops, etc.
There is a lot of work but if we try we can succeed!
#day5 of the MakerCamp was very productive and we made a lot of things. We finished 2 more tables and we made some chairs. Also we finished painting the container, and I learned a lot about using power tools and making your own furniture.
After we worked on the container we had a creative coding class that was very fun and interesting. Also due to the coding language (Processing), being very close to java and arduino, which i have some experience with, it was not too hard.
It was a great day!
Maker Camp Day4
It was a great day! First we worked out a plan for the day, and then directly got to work. We have now made it possible for the container to access electricity and water. Also we created a table from left over wood we found around the streets on day3, and we started work on a "super chair", that is made of a stroller and pvc, also we are planning to make it have some extra cool functions. Finally we went to PG to work on repairing bikes for participants, which was really fun and you learned a lot.
My hope for day5 is that we can finish off more than on the day before, due to us now having electricity and water. The time is running low, but I believe we can finish off what is left to create the best possible makerspace built in a container. #day4
