also I based my human tenna off Richard Ayoade a bit because of course I would. I love it crowd.

the comic that I drew pretty much immediately after playing chapter 3 that I SWORE I would finish. but I do not think I ever will if im being honest XP

As i said, this comic is OLD! and i now have a very clear image of— if Spamton ever did banter like that on stage with him— Tenna running off and stropping in a corner about it. Their conversation afterwards would pretty much be the same as this though, just bit more angry and not the sad sopping insecure display he is here. Also, I think Spamton would make these mean jabs really purposefully at the start of their partnership to try and negate some of the power imbalance with Tenna being literally the lord of TV world, but, yeah, Tenna’s ego has been unchecked for a bit so this would really bother him at the start. Once they get to know each other though these guys are like a comedy duo! Constantly making jokes about each other on stage. They would do a slapstick routine if they had the props.

I also just think Spamton is just kind of. Like that. But at the start he’s a lot more uncaring about what he says, just going full “I need to manipulate this guy into giving me all his money” mode until he starts accidentally caring about Tenna and… is still pretty mean to him… but Tenna’s would be used to his shenanigans by then and Spamton wouldn’t go as far with it as he used to. Also, what’s a little bit of carefully laid out manipulations between friends???? I think there’d still be a lot of manipulation between them but Spamton would just start getting sweatier and sweatier about it and Tenna would start getting way too emotional about wanting to know Spamton’s secret and it would definitely not at some point turn into metaphor for anything when he asks him to please please just trust him and tell him already. they’ve known each other for so long now, what was he doing wrong???? Like that one “finally- finally?” line really sticks with me I think he was just projecting alot of his feeling surrounding Spamton into “I NEED this guy to tell me his secret already!!!!” like still trying to convince himself he’s got everything under control all according to plan when they’re low-key getting gay with it (NOT the plan!!!). They would both do this actually.

That being said. I think Spamton would put him in one of those fair dunking tanks. And Tenna would sit there all jolly kicking his legs like “According to Spamton this will get me AMAZING ratings!!!” and Spamton would throw big heavy rocks directly at the glass.

I hope non of this comes of as me like ‘correcting’ your headcanons btw!! I just also have a lot of thoughts <3

i just find it funny how obviously passionate he is about the bounty hunters. like bro just likes cowboys. bro got sentimental before the great transcendence because it would mean no more cowboys. cowboys were the only new thing he added to the game other than the obvious hi-tech robot shit. they contributed absolutely nothing to the great transcendence. he was just being cringe.

Anyways I cannot decide what exactly their business relationship is. No idea how much stake Spamton actually had in TV TIME, but I think them running the bizz together is fun!! unsure how canon that is though...
