that one trend
Happy Birthday Tim Drake‼️
Chicken fight!!
I really like the idea of Jon wanting to do all these stupid social media couples trends with Damian once they start dating, but as Robin and Superboy rather than Damian and Jon. (Not for any real reason except he thinks it would be funnier for Damian to be doing these stupid, sappy trends in his full Robin getup.)
Damian, of course, argues against it. He says it’s too risky for people to know their superhero identities are together because someone could use it against them. He also thinks that someone could connect Robin and Superboy dating to Jon and Damian dating and then figure out their secret identities.
Jon shoots this down because people already know that Robin and Superboy are friends and use it against them, so that wouldn’t change. Also, they know plenty of people who are publicly dating as both their superhero and civilian identities and no one has figured any of them out yet.
(Also also, Damian and Jon have a bad habit of making out while on patrol together- usually Jon’s fault- so it’s really only a matter of time before someone sees.)
Jon keeps bringing up these points and pestering Damian until he finally agrees. Jon makes them film all these stupid TikTok’s, and Damian acts all bothered, but he actually starts to like it. Cue Damian filming without Jon knowing and purposely doing things in them that annoy Jon just to ragebait him.
His first video is titled “seeing how loud I have to say my boyfriend’s name before he shows up.” All Damian has to do is whisper and Jon’s there, super worried because why would Damian have to whisper unless he can’t speak freely for some reason? The internet loses their shit over it since the video makes it obvious that Jon is always listening for Damian and is very protective over him.
He has another one called “how long will it take my boyfriend to use his x-ray vision on me if I pretend to be hurt?” Damian sets up the camera and then fakes a slight limp when Jon shows up for patrol. Jon’s eyes immediately get unfocused and a second later he’s asking why Damian’s limping if nothing’s broken? Damian laughs and looks at the camera, which Jon then notices, and he starts yelling because “that’s not funny, D, I thought you were hurt!”
His most popular video is actually a series of videos where he just throws himself off of things and times how long it takes Jon to catch him. Sometimes Jon’s already with him, sometimes he’s not. Sometimes Damian calls for Jon, sometimes he doesn’t. No matter what, Jon always shows up and catches him in record time. The internet absolutely adores them.
(And don’t worry, Jon gets back at him by making his own series- “how many times can I pick up my boyfriend before he threatens to murder me?”. Which is just a bunch of clips of Jon throwing Damian over his shoulder or lifting him by the back of his uniform and Damian trying to kick him while demanding to be put down.)
A companion-type boyfriend
Clark naming all the things that to him make him human, but Kara having all those same traits despite the fact that she will never be “human” has me eating glass. He’s so sheltered he doesn’t understand that being a person isn’t exclusive to being a human
Edit: I think some of y’all are not getting the point of the post
I’m not arguing about whether Clark is human. He is. I’m arguing that he’s wrong about what MAKES him human, because the things he lists in his speech (loving, getting scared, etc) are, as we see with Kara, not exclusive to humans, and they’re near universal among the people of the galaxy. Clark is human because he was raised in human culture, while Kara is Kryptonian because she was raised in Kryptonian culture. They are still both people, so they both love, get scared, do the best they can, but Clark is not as well-traveled as Kara doesn’t understand that being a “person” isn’t exclusive to being a “human”

The woman gasped at him like he’d thrown acid at her, taking a step back and dragging her son with her. “What kind of person uses language like that in front of somebody else’s child? I’ll call the police and have you done for harassment, you know!”
“Lady, you’re in our building and refusing to leave us alone,” Jason snapped back at her tiredly, putting a hand on his hip and tilting his head to the side. “Call the police, I fucking dare you; we’ll see who they think is the problem here.”
~
Somehow, Jason Todd gets into a fight with the head of his local PTA. Somehow, this ends up with his estranged family figuring out that he’s not dead anymore. Somehow, Damian is the one that is inconvenienced the most by all of these events.
i’m all for the angst potential of Dick Grayson being the one kid that Bruce never legally adopted and rather just kept as a ward and that causing insecurities for Dick, but at the moment all i can think about is how much funnier it would be if it was the complete other way round regarding who felt rejected about the whole thing. Tim and Damian find out Dick isn’t a legal adoptee of Bruce Wayne and rally to ‘have their brother’s back’ and go to confront Bruce on the matter, and Jason’s next to him when it happens and he starts crying laughing while Bruce just gets a really uncomfortable look on his face.
Jason, losing his mind: you think- you think BRUCE excluded DICK?! no no no bubba, it’s the other way around,
Bruce: *looking at the ground intently*
Damian: i don’t understand. why did Father not adopt Grayson then?
Jason, genuinely struggling to breathe: he- he tried- *high pitched, now on his hands and knees on the floor to wheeze* Dick- god this is my favourite story ever- Dick didn’t want him-
Tim and Damian:
Tim and Damian: what.
Bruce, blushing slightly: it wasn’t that he didn’t want me, we were just in different places in the relationship,
Jason: *wheezes*
Bruce: Jason shut up.
Tim: i don’t understand.
Jason: he- he asked Dick if he wanted to be adopted, and Dick looked him right in the fucking eyes and went ‘nah, thanks.’ and walked away,
Damian: …are you being serious?
Bruce: he didn’t want anybody to take a legal role that could replace his parents, which is fully understandable and i respect it completely; he’s my child regardless of the legal specifics,
Jason: *dry heaving on the floor*
Bruce: …though it did sting a little bit when i told him ‘you know in my heart you are my son, right?’ and he looked at me and said ‘yeah.’ and nothing else.
Jason: *painful wheeze*
Bruce, starting to get slightly indignant: …-it’s also just slightly awkward whenever people come up to me and bring it up- all ‘why don’t you adopt Dick, don’t you want to?’ and then they list off all the benefits of legally adopting him and i have to stand there staring at them thinking ‘yeah i fucking agree.’
Tim and Damian:
Tim: i’m starting to think we’ve struck a nerve here,
Bruce: -you know i really poured my heart into that ‘i want to adopt you’ speech—had a powerpoint and everything, told him i loved him, basically got down on one knee with the contract. and this little shit stared me in the face wearing my fucking hand-me-downs, and was like ‘i think we should just be friends’ like how in the hell-
Jason, weakly from the floor: god i’m- please, i’m in pain,
Tim and Damian: *awkwardly watching Bruce rant while Jason cries on the floor next to him*
Tim and Damian:
Damian: this may have been a mistake-
Tim: does this mean that Jason being adopted was basically just Dick breaking up with Bruce and Bruce being so heartbroken that he went and rebounded with the first kid he found on the nearest street corner?
Bruce: *pauses rant*
Bruce:
Bruce: WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THAT?
Jason: *starts laughing even louder*
