Goals:
Become the apartment witch. My apartment smells like incense and matches and tea. My neighbors all come to me for remedies and small magical favors. Their visitors catch a glimpse of my apartment from the corner of their eye-they are unsure if they imagined it or not. I am a cryptid
Become the apartment angel. My apartment smells like candles and flowers in bloom, with flowing water in the background. My neighbors are hesitant to approach me, but do so when needing advise or small sums of money from the dish that sits by the door. Visitors who see me inwardly shudder, feeling a presence beyond their own, calming but powerful with a light gait and loose flowing clothes. They are sure they havenāt imagined me, but think theyāve imagined what I am. Forgotten powerful presence, a cryptic angel.
become the apartment hobbit hearth witch. I always have a cup of tea and something sweet for travelers, friends, strangers. people come to me because they know I can listen, and sometimes without even saying a word their problems seem to work themselves out. my hearth is always warm, always welcoming. I grow my own tea and herbs in a garden much larger than what a rooftop apartment should be able to accommodate, and sunflowers stand guard around the perimeter. teas for sadness, for energy, for serenity, for concentration, mixed by hand in a sunlit kitchen, in a copper kettle. a warm smile and iced green teas for the summers, mushrooms for the autumns, black spiced teas for winter, herbal and fruit for spring. they donāt know how long Iāve lived there, but theyāre certain Iāll stay for a long while.
Become the apartment Earth witch. I tend to my plants daily and make sure they all have plenty of food and water. I set my crystals to charge in the sunlight or in my pots with my plants, my neighbors come to me for herbs and remedies to help with with all sorts of stuff, I manage to annoy my roommate with leaving my crystals scattered on the windowsills, I make sure my familiar (probably either a carved crystal or my cat) is well taken care of. The constant scent of earth and nature-scented incense fill my apartment and leaks out onto the city street and into the hallways, my cupboard is always overflowing all manners of herbs for cooking and teas and potions, I always have a cup of herbal tea every day (maybe a little coffee sometimes), setting my plants on the windowsill to get some sunlight. People coming by to see where the smell of herbs is coming from, doing sage cleansings every week. Meditating to the sounds of a forest on a rainy day.
Become the apartment superintendent. I do minor repairs and plumbing, keep the laundry room clean, and collect rent from anyone who doesnāt have direct deposit. The hours arenāt great but the pay is all right, and I generally get some good tips at Christmas.
