Sigh... I have been receiving question like this for a while, so I might as well answer here, for the like 30 people that follow this: no, it's not, the next update is a perpetual WIP. But first, I have opened a account on the side, drawing commissions on topics I would rather not associate with my main name; and second, to exacerbate the issue, my technical skill has advanced beyond the art quality of this update, so working on it is really cringy for me.

However, consider me succesfully shamed into productivity - I will start working on Nyx Contacts routinely, starting tomorrow.

Equating creating artwork or enjoying artwork with minors with actual pedophilia is like saying people who play gears of war are violent sociopaths.

There is a MASSIVE psychological gulf between fantasy and reality. And people who like perveted kinks aren’t some sex crazed psychos whose brains don’t work the same way. Even “creepy” ones like artwork with minors.

Whatever the fantasy is. Rape, incest, underage, old age, monsters… It doesn’t matter.

Fantasies are fantasies. And reality is reality. Multiple psychological studies into the validity of saying media “causes” certain behavior shows at best a correlation. But nothing has ever shown a causal link. That wasn’t also debunked for violating major elements of research theory.

If you seriously are going to freak the fuck out about imaginary characters doing things you find offensive? Then perhaps you need to realize that it’s fiction and it won’t be an issue.

Look at Japan. They are a haven of artwork depicting minors and some of the most crazy fetishes. Yet, their sex crime and violent crime rates are really low. It’s not the artwork or enjoyment there of.
