In this episode we go to the movies, only to learn about the horrible concept of "teenicide," or the art of killing yourself before the age of 20. There's also a rarely seen TV commercial for Liquid Courage brand malt liquor, and Jimmy Sexual tells Cherry Jubilee a joke. What's That Smell? uploads are now complete

What's That Smell? episodes 10 thru 15 are now available on  Youtube. Links will follow this post. That's as many episodes as I did back in the day. Will there be a 2nd season? That remains to be seen, but I have definitely been kicking some ideas around. In the meantime I'm beginning work on a new project called Home Kitchen Battle!  It's essentially a homemade cooking competition show along the lines of Top Chef or Chopped, but the contestants are my friends, who are definitely NOT professional chefs, and the competition takes place in my kitchen. It's going to be chaotic, and hopefully it'll be fun and funny too. We'll see. We're filming the first episode this afternoon.

Sexy Horror Bubblebath Theater Episode 6 has been found!

With the noir panache of Sam Spade or Philip Marlowe, Ghost Detective Ashley is on the case, trying to determine who stole the douche bowl of Aphrodite. No need to say anything else, or as the kids these days say, "nuff said." We got slightly out of order here because this installment of Sexy Horror Bubblebath Theater was thought lost forever, but once the rubble from Princess Nay-Nay's underground lair 3000 miles below the surface of the Earth was excavated, a lone film canister was found containing this footage. Okay, so if any of you have actually watched any of the first 3 episodes of What's That Smell?, you might have been able to tell that I was still working things out, both technically and content-wise. There are some fun bits, but overall, not very cohesive or really all that funny. By far the best thing any of the first 3 episodes had going for them was lots of music by Richard Lavalliere! Well, episode 4 is where I started to get more serious about it as a structured show and developed some of the characters that would make recurring appearances in future episodes (what up, Joey Onions? You will be resurrected in the near future, I promise!). So I've just finished uploading the episode. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it makes you curious enough about what the future holds for some of this shit to make you tune in to more episodes. Fuck, there are 15 in all, so there's a long way to go. Not to mention the fact that I fully intend to start making new episodes in the near future. WTS 2.0 y'all.

What's That Smell? Episode 3 is now live on Youtube. This episode features the debut of The Happy Cripple. How can you not be inspired by a guy confined to a wheel chair, but who keeps such a positive outlook that he can't help but sing! Constantly! Also in this episode: a short film some high school kids did based on a story in a book I published back in the day (see previous post for a brief explanation of my small press days), the continuing romantic antics of Jimmy Sexual and Cherry Jubilee (which also features some cool footage of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade), a homemade commercial for Beano, and some trippy digital art stuff which definitely benefits from a joint smoking before watching.
