I don’t think DC realizes how perfectly they set up Damian and Jon to be Nightwing and Flamebird. I’m not saying they can’t eventually become the new Batman and Superman but seriously it’s perfect. I think we can all agree that the person Damian is closest to is Dick Grayson. So having him follow his brother’s path first instead of his father’s would make a lot of sense and really be in line with the theme of Damian not following the paths people expect him to that we see a lot. Damian becoming Nightwing is a great way to show his character development. As for jon, he needs a title to make his own. He can’t be Superboy forever and taking the name Flamebird would be a way to become his own hero instead of just his fathers sucessor. He even has a SOLAR FLAIR ABILITY THAT BURNS EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH!!!! I really love the dynamic between these too and them continuing to be partners would be amazing and them becoming Nightwing and Flamebird would be an awesome way to do that and it makes a lot of sense for their characters. I hope DC notices this and uses it.
