We were bursting with excitement two years ago when Annie Leibovitz's A Photographer's Life came to the ArtScience Museum, and we're doing the same now, upon hearing that her new show Women: New Portraits, is opening in Singapore next week, part of a 10-city world tour with commissioning partner UBS.
Because it’s Annie Leibovitz.

Singapore Chinese Film Festival 2016
Co-organised by the Singapore Film Society and SIM University, the annual SCFF seeks to cultivate an appreciation of independent Chinese language cinema. Through our selection of 16 feature films, 10 documentaries and 36 short films, we strive to present an interesting and exciting programme that offers not just the best and award winning films, but also the offbeat films and upcoming talents that might have gone under the radar.

The website has finally updated yesterday (for an event that is starting in 2 weeks time, how early), but apart from that, I am so stoked for the massive (+ exciting!) lineup of films in this festival, for they were unavailable in the local cinemas. Man, I see so many films that I so want to watch ;;
...And I require some donation for my wallet is emptied due to this event.

Silver Writing: Writing My Memoir – a ten-week workshop for seniors who are interested in sharing their life story. Presented by The Arts House and U 3rd Age (University of the Third Age), the weekly workshops allow participants to explore different aspects of their lives. The sessions include writing assignments, a session on bookbinding and digital recording. There will also be an opportunity to learn from a published author, Josephine Chia who won the Singapore Literature Prize (Non-Fiction) in 2014 for Kampong Spirit Gotong Royong: Life in Potong Pasir, 1955 to 1965.
