King of Barkus, Alex, an 8 year old Blue Weimaraner rescue, begs for more lamb chops at historical Galatoire's restaurant in New Orleans on Friday. It's tradition to take the Barkus royalty to Galatoires for lamb chops the Friday before they march. Barkus is tomorrow in the French Quarter! Thanks to the Advocate for sending me to take these photos.
This is Brooke's Great Dane Duchess. She is 4 and a half years old and has many medical issues, but she is getting better. I have always loved Great Danes, but it's heart breaking they don't live as long as dogs that are half their size.
This is Skye’s 6 month old Catahoula puppy River.
We took him to the river.
Him and his sister live in the same house and play ever chance they get.
Always nice to meet up with old friends and do the same thing we have been doing for 5+ years, watching trains go by, drinking beer, and coffee.
Jojo and I met at the Dragon’s Den in 2009 and we have been friends ever since.
This is Zinc's Sky the lovebird. Sky is 10 years old. Lovebirds live up to about 20 years. For the bonding process between owner and lovebird, it is usually better to have just one. Part of my project of photographing New Orleans pets.
This is Jasmin’s cat Mayahuel, named after the female divinity connected with the maguey plant in Aztec culture.
I started photographing other peoples’ pets in New Orleans. Meet Jasmin’s cat Zinj.
The Mississippi river was very low for a long time. A beach formed in front of the Moon Walk.
The bromances outside Hi-Ho Lounge after DJ Soul Sister.
I love taking portraits of dogs. They never pose. They are who they are. French Quarter dogs have personality.
September 6th, 2015. I joined my friend Cassidy in the streets of the French Quarter to celebrate Southern Decadence weekend.
In Santo Domingo Spain, our hotel room looked over the old folks home.

San Fermín always begins at noon on the 6th of July. The first day is always wild and all about letting go of daily worries and just having the best day and everyone is in on it.

After all 6 bulls safely make it into the ring and into their pen for the afternoon, 6 bulls are released into the crowd. They are usually about 2 years old with taped or dulled horns and a bit smaller than the bulls that were just running in the streets. They are still large and wing people out of their way.

Many Americans drink Cognac with vanilla directly after running with the bulls.
Zane’s nose was accidentally hit by a person during the run. Most of the issues and injuries that happen during the run are caused by other runners rather than the bulls.

He didn’t have a cup and he didn’t want to drink out of the bottle so he poured the rosé into a beer can.
