I have zero clue who whooper is but I have been seeing you draw them and they seem like such a cool dude....would love to hear more about them !
Haha, yeah I haven't talked about him much have I?
Though, this could be said the same for .. literally all of my ocs.
I've yapped about 3 and 1/2 out of [checks notes] 100-something-or-other+
Whooper is one of my scrunglies. My silly guy. Th blorbo.
Squimsh him face, y'know?
But also put him through the wringer for funzies.
Same for his twin, Parrow.
I'll share some basics here while I make up a proper explanation on the boys utilizing a different ask I got a while ago from my lovely partner.
As mentioned: Whooper Zentiel has a twin brother, Parrow Zentiel.
Ever since I stopped killing the latter off (due to being a coward and bad at doing self-roleplay with characters of mine for their Dynamics), I like to talk about both of them at the same time when doing introductions.
Whooper and Parrow originate firstly from the Project Moon world setting, with Whooper working for Lobotomy Corporation, and Parrow being notably dead. [It's okay he got better in other universes] Before then being brought into other universes/worlds to be expanded upon.
Whooper was created 2 months before Parrow was around, so these two were not created at the same time for any duo dynamics, but were adapted into being more and more cohesive as such a dynamic over time.
Their parents are often just referred to as The Zentiels, they have proper names, but they honestly don't deserve them they're despicable. Family life growing up is most often terrible for the twins due to those two.
The Twins are based around trauma responses, namely fear responses of Flight or Fight.
Whooper is Flight, Parrow is Fight
This extends into everything from color schemes to personalities, of course.
The Blue (W) - Red (P) dynamic.
The complimentary colors that is Yellow (W) and Purple (P).
Whooper being friendly and anxious. (Skittish, Passive, Meek.)
Parrow being rude and "confident". (Loud, Aggressive, Bold)
Etc etc.
They've got a good relationship with each other though, they're very close and will always try to help one another out. It's "them vs the world" after all. It's a fun dynamic to think about.
They're both trans, also.
Whooper is a transguy (he/him), and Parrow is transmasc (he/they).
Now. One may wonder. Why are they named Whooper and Parrow.
It's lost to time as to how Whooper ended up being named that, but Parrow's name oocly originates from me taking Whooper's name and changing it up a bit.
In character: Whooper and Parrow chose these names for themselves and it is based off of their favorite animals! Whooper likes Axolotls, and Parrow likes Sparrows.
You can see pretty easily how Parrow got his name, but maybe not so much with Whooper. It originates from the sound axolotls make when they come to the surface and "bark".
I thinkkkk this is a fairly alright introduction to the basics, apologies if it is a little all over the place. But! As said, I'll make a proper big-long-thing for Whooper specifically later, and one for Parrow too if it is wanted. In the meantime, I will, of course, answer any smaller questions or such about them or others of interest.
