I want to talk about Israel and Palestine.

Because I'm writing a fanfic with a Mizrahi Jewish OC (Midianna). It feels not only inconsiderate but also hypocritical to take a back seat in this situation as a human but also as an author writing with characters of these ethnicities. I try to keep politics out of my post on here as this is solely a fanfic and fanart blog and I have a more personal blog and other such accounts on other websites to be spreading important information on.

However, I stand with Palestine, both in regard to the people my OC represents, and also as someone of oppressed and colonised lineage. I am both Irish and Welsh in close descent (my Grandad is half Irish and Welsh). Moreover, because I am a human being, I stand against the colonisation of land and the ethnic cleansing and genocide of people and faith.

This is not a time to be Antisemitic, nor is it a time for Islamophobia or any other kind of Xenophobia, and I am not being so at this moment, Jewish people (Ethnic or religious) and Zionists are not the same things, I stand with and support Jewish people from the hatred, violence and oppression they deal with today and in the past. I stand against Zionists and their brutal government, and I know I'm not well-known, I'm not trying to be, but I need to make this stand and make myself clear.

I do not and will not support Israel's actions against Palestine.

I am still keeping tabs on the situation, and doing research and I pray and implore you to do the same until it is over. If you cannot handle the information you are receiving in the moment, save it and go back to it when you are mentally prepared to take it in properly. But do not procrastinate in this endeavour, people's lives cannot afford to be ended because of procrastination.

I may not update much on here about the information I am learning and the news I am listening to but I am on my TikTok, I intend to spread awareness and stop Western, fascist and colonialist propaganda from influencing the minds of people who enjoy my content.

If you are any of those things: a fascist, a colonialist, or a zionist, (Or a supporter of any) I implore you to leave my blog, or stay and learn and listen to any victims of such who may want to spread and share their stories via this post. I will not tolerate your hate and will not be gentle or respectful if you harass people searching for a safe space and a moment of respite to spread the news they have via my blog and post on this incredibly traumatising (for the people of Palestine more than anyone) topic.

For those who wish to give me any research material or more/better information outlets to keep tabs on, I am an open mind and an empty canvas, I will listen to your words and be as diligent as I can be in this situation to help and aid where I can.

for those who don't know, the freedom fretilla, a ship headed to gaza to try and get some aid past the israeli siege, just left with among its crew swedish activist greta thunberg, irish actor liam cunningham, and french member of the european parliament rima hassan.

the ship has already been bombed twice during previous attempts at approaching gaza.

my only hope is that if we make enough noise this time, israel won't dare bomb it with such prominent international figures on board, from fear of making them martyrs and turning the rest of the world against them.

so talk about it, post about it, and expect, demand their mission to succeed and their safe return 🙏

the only power we have is political and economic pressure at this point. ethics are out of the picture when it comes to the israeli government. so we need to make it clear that bombing this ship would be a declaration of war against europe.

Marvel OC redesign?? (And slight rewrite)

Okay, so, ages ago when I used to write on wattpad, I had a marvel OC that I wrote some fanfic about (I accidentally deleted that fanfic so you can't read it, sorry!) I was young at the time and didn't really know what I wanted to really do with said OC, but I've been thinking about it recently, and when the Thunderbolts movie came out, it was kind of the final push I needed to bring her back new and refined.

So here's a rough character concept redesign I created.

Amanda Barton has a sonar related echolocation ability so I did give her a subtle bat theme. Along with the bat theme, she is also blind (Since birth) specifically she had polycoria which is a condition where the iris grows over the pupil (fully covered in her case). This condition was a mutation result from her mother experimenting on her prebirth to try and make her a super-soldier from the get go. Which was successful, but her being blind and having enhanced hearing was an after affect of risky DNA meddling.

This is a change from her original blindness which had no depth and almost no research to it (Cut me some slack, I was 14 at the time)

Because of her echolocation, and her blindness, she can't see colour or texture, but she can see shape and silhouette, so she likes picking fun, bold shapes and funky silhouettes for her casual clothing. This concept is her more low-key casual clothing.

Amanda was a Red Room super soldier experiment, a sort of second phase to Natasha's experimentation. She gets taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D at the age of 4 and is raised by Clint Barton, taking on his last name. The name beside it was her original last name in the red room.

She was trained as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent but stopped being one a couple years after the events of CAtWS, when she is 17. She survives the blip and is a vigilante by the time the 5 years has passed.

I also changed her code name to Resonance because it was originally 'The Void' and like ???? because she's blind?? 14 me thought it was such a good name but it sucks man. Anyway, her name is Resonance because of her echolocation and enhanced hearing.

There's a lot of lore I haven't spilled here, I'll write some short fics maybe, even maybe some animations.

Yelena Belova is CONFIRMED Asexual in the comics. "I'm not anything" is a phrase I myself have used in the past and I've also heard others use it. It's an easy enough description to use.

"But nothing was said about her being Aromantic"

It's important to note here that while the split attraction model is useful especially when someone is not both Aromantic and Asexual we are NOT required to use it.

Using Asexual as our singular identity is just as valid a way to say we're not attracted to anyone. Just as Bisexual is a valid way to say that you are attracted to multiple genders.

In an interview her creator specifically said that she wasn't likely to "follow Nat's romantic path"

"But this is the MCU not the comics, things could be different"

The fact that you feel like you can say this when you would likely be up in arms if someone tried to say the same thing about a gay or lesbian character in the comics says a lot. It's aphobic and really shitty, stop it. Get over yourself and give us the same fucking respect.

It's erasure. Erasure of an identity that's important to so many people, erasure of an identity I needed as a kid when my 10 and 11 year old classmates were kissing each other and dating, as a teen when I sat in my sex Ed class wondering why I was uninterested even as all my classmates were filled with nervous excitement.

Erasure of an identity that has practically no mainstream representation.

Representation is vital for all LGBTQIA+ identities, Asexual included, it saves lives.

And Yelena is great rep something Asexuals and especially Aromantics have been denied time and time again in mainstream media.

"Some AroAce people get in relationships"

Yes, they do but using this to justify a ship especially if you aren't aroace yourself or haven't done adequate research by talking to aroace people about their relationships. It can come across as though you think that finding your "ship" is what makes a human. This isn't the case and it dehumanises people like me.

Bottom line: please respect us and Yelena. She's already a badass.

First Post of 2025!! I have returned to The Dragon Prince at last! And with it comes more art of my girl. this is obviously placed at the very end of season 1 after Zym is born, she reveals herself after finally catching up to the gang.

I kinda want to animate this scene at some point in the upcoming week or so, it might take longer but I should hopefully have a post about that to like update on it. I'm not sure I'm going to get the quality I was planning on getting just so I can fit it in a tumblr post as I was originally planning to post it on Patreon but that's been a hassle just with this speed paint and I didn't even achieve that so I don't know.

Y'know that sketch I did for Starwars day? Well I finally got around to finishing it...

I honestly really like how this turned out! And yes, it's designed to be a poster/bookcover thing. I like drawing them from time to time.

Some things are different from the sketch, specifically the fact that I didn't like how some of the sketches were too traced. (Cody and Rex), so I changed those a little, Rex more then Cody. And how do I cover up the fact that I didn't want to draw more of the background characters' anatomy? Smoke... also I needed it to show the green light behind Eden because the source of it is important to her story.

HOTD Season 2 is here and so is my fanfic. My OC, Ricka Stark is the younger sister of Cregan (Who I am very excited to see in the upcoming season) And is the ward of Rhaenyra Targaryen.

This story will be practically entirely from her P.O.V, save any important scenes with other characters. And the only changes made to the storyline are ones that make sense for 1. Ricka is able to change within her abilities, 2. if Ricka is present to stop it.
