If the Halloween episode really does have Buck thinking his decorations are legitimately haunted here's how the rest of the 118 reacts:

Chim: 100% believes the decorations are haunted but when questioned by Maddie goes "pshhhh of course i don't really think that" and then immediately screams and grabs her when something spooky happens

Hen: keeps asking Buck if he disturbed any graves recently to freak him out

Eddie: (said in the most disgustingly fond tone of voice) Buck come on you are not being haunted by your Halloween decorations. yes you can hold my hand if it makes you feel better

Bobby: actively trying to make Buck think his Halloween decorations are haunted because it's funny

okay, so we all know Erik and Olivia are going to sleep together & nobody of us understands how this is going to happen (including myself), BUT even tho I’m very confused about this i still think that it’s not going to happen because they are in love with each other or anything. Sure, there must be some kind of attraction from both sides but I don’t feel like it’s this kind of attraction (or they both just want to try it but nahh I don’t think so). Also i don’t think that are going to be a couple after that, don’t ask me where this confidence is coming from, but yeah (been have this feeling since I saw the trailer haha or it’s just my head being delusional as always).

Oh & i’m a 100% sure season 3 will end on a big big cliffhanger 💀 (glad season 4 was already filmed lol)!!

I think their connection will come later and it will be related to Olivia and Felix beefing and her finding some comfort in Erik being the one nice guy in that group. I think it will be a very spontaneous and physical/fun short-term thing between them. If it drags on into season 4 much I'm gonna kms

Those two set aside, I just need to see Mathias happy for a minute 😭 he can't just be pining for Erik for two seasons. Give him a new guy to crush on that likes him back and then Matherik can be reunited when Erik gets jealous and realizes his feelings for Mathias

I'm still upset that this is going to happen, just because it's going to hurt Mathias so bad. And I think once Erik hooks up with Olivia, Mathias is going to give up any hope he had of Erik actually liking him back.

I want Mathias and Erik to be together, but if Erik is going to be out here living his best life then I want Mathias to have that as well. Maybe get a nice love interest of his own and be happy for a while. Mathias has just been so different from his usual self. He's sad and confused and isolated, and this relationship between Olivia and Erik is just going to isolate him even more if he's unable to move past it.

Erik needs to figure out what he wants or doesnt want and be clear with Mathias about what that is. But until then, spending some time apart is probably for the best.

Eddie is a single father and relies on Buck for coparenting responsibilities

Buck is really obsessive and jealous when Eddie hangs out with other people

Buck has dated women in the past but has recently started dating a man who he himself has noted on multiple occasions reminds him a lot of Eddie

Buck can’t go an entire conversation without saying Eddie’s name

Eddie is currently dating a one dimensional undeveloped character of a woman that he doesn’t seem to have any real feelings for

Eddie still has a lot of confusing grief about his late wife

Eddie sees a woman who reminds him of his late wife and starts seeing her behind his girlfriends back

Eddie remembers his marriage happier than it was since it is stated in the first episode of the season that his wife abandoned him before she died

Eddie and Buck, when intoxicated, cannot keep their hands off each other and like to wear matching costumes

Sooo... Time to make Hen's "It's about damn time." a sad thing... I'm just thinking of Hen noticing early on in knowing Buck that he'll check guys out. At first she thinks that he knows he's bisexual, but just isn't ready to come out, so she quickly introduces him to Karen to make it extra clear that she's a lesbian (he already knew, ofc, but she's doing her thing!) and just makes it so clear that the 118 is a safe place for him to come out. When she really starts getting to know him, she realises that he genuinely doesn't actually know, he hasn't figured it out yet. She's slightly amused, because it's Buck and he's oblivious. But as time goes on, she starts getting kind of sad for him. She sees how much he's struggling with figuring himself out, she sees his identity issues. And part of her really wants to just tell him that maybe he should take a look at his sexuality but she knows she can't because he has to figure this out himself and she can't go around telling people who they are. So she just watches as he struggles with identity, as he tries to find the secret to happiness and asks her what she thinks it is, makes it clear he's not at ease with himself and just goes through all these things as he tries to get comfortable in his life. She watches him die, knowing he didn't find it, but he's resuscitated and he recovers and he seems to maybe be starting to be okay, but he's still so clearly NOT and she knows a big part of that is that there's this whole other part of him that he just hasn't discovered yet. And since he died that part of her that really wants to just tell him has become bigger because she was faced with the reality of him dying without ever figuring it out, but she still knows she can't do that. Then something changes. He suddenly seems happier, more comfortable in his own skin, she barely notices it at first. But then Buck and Tommy come waltzing into Chimney's hospital room and Tommy is covered in soot and hang on a minute, Buck who was previously very clean now has soot all over the bottom half of his face and is grinning and happy and it hits her that he has figured it out. "It's about damn time."
