On my journey, to follow a dream, to grant a wish, to travel the world, to see more than I knew, I found myself. Somewhere. Lost in the crowd of the people who I loved. I didn’t know their names, I didn’t know their ways, but I knew them. In my heart, my spirit and my soul. I knew these people, these lovely, brilliant, and beautiful, people. For they were my people, my family, and my home. I feel lost without them, surrounding me, singing, cracking a joke. Being in the middle of that bustling city, amidst the noises and smells of all its glory, there was hope, there was love, and there was life. A life, that, I could be a part of if I so wished, and made into my reality. Would I do it? Would I make that crazy, questionable, and brave leap? Would I leave, everything I knew, everything I loved, behind? To go home? To my true home, where the people were my people, and whose home became my own? To study, to travel, and live as I wished? Would, I, scared, and introverted me, make that kind of commitment? No one knows. Even I don’t know. In my heart, I know my soul yearns and cries for this beautiful place. This place that changed my life, mind, and helped me, find myself. Nothing would make me more happy, or scared, to follow through with this crazy, crazy plan. To follow a dream, to follow a life, an amazing, brave, and adventurous life.... To become what you want. Follow your dreams love. Go where you want to go. Be who you want to be. Breathe. Take a step. Be smart. Be studious. And most of all, go home. Not to a house, or your blood family. But to Ireland, the land, the people, the air, where you feel, in your heart, at peace, at home.
