did you know that according to a 2020 study, parrots can be taught to use currency, giving it back to researchers in exchange for food? the fascinating part is that in the case of one parrot having more than the others, it would voluntarily give some of its money to the other birds in order for them to get food for themselves, with no benefit to itself?
