Day one 🏃🏽‍♀️

It was a hot one! Wore my black pants and a t-shirt and I was 🥵 burning up. Will wear a tank top and capris today. I choose to do bug alley for my first run back and it was a great choice. It was gorgeous! Wild flowers 💐, foliage and ☀️. 3 miles to start off.. very slow but everyone has to start somewhere.

Monday-bug alley 3 miles

Tuesday - Watchfield park/wind farm ? 3.5

Wednesday- Cabot trail 3miles

Thursday- uffington 5 miles

Friday- neighborhood?

A cold and windy hike. It was so bone chilling cold but somehow so sunny ☀️ and beautiful. Very perplexing... keep going and freeze or enjoy a nice mug of hot cocoa...

What I have learned from Inner peace

Inner peace is just as important as oxygen.

Without it people start to suffocate and slowly die...life is the journey to find it and it unfortunately ebbs and flows because we just can’t let go sometimes of our own ego, past, pain and suffering.

When you feel inner peace you know your right where your supposed to be... the past is not lingering and the future is not looming... balanced and aligned you feel just right in your own skin.

Inner peace is just as important as exercise and eating your vegetables. A daily search, taking that moment and letting go is key to just be happy with yourself.

I learned that nurturing my inner peace is important in my life and I’m ready to pursue my lifelong path to building, creating and finding it.

A good fall day to run. Ran three miles at a slow pace but did the whole Cabot trail today!! Saw three pheasants on the trail. How to be a runner today was jamming out to my favorite tunes and just letting it go!

🏃🏽 run 🏃🏽 and then keep 🏃🏽

Up I go..... the hill was hard, the other hills however weren't as hard. The first one always seems like the worst no matter the size or distance but after that I was warmed up, ready and knew what was in store. I take a deeper breath, I push my stride just a tad bit longer and I pump my arms but most importantly I look up to the top and say today I will defeat you, your mine and so I climb to the top and feel the success, I feel te hard work paying off and how strong my legs, back, core and lungs have gotten and realize how much I want more.... so here's to the climb... here's to keep running and running until you realize just how strong you have become... inside and out.

I did vary from running and went and took a class at the gym...where I lifted... my body felt great afterwards and this morning I can feel soreness😊🎉

Day Eight of running everyday

So usually I try to make an excuse to not do something. However, when you have to come up with one for 24 hours of the day it makes it harder so I have given it up.... I put my tennis shoes on and go...it's not always fast, it's not always far but I move and I keep moving. So one foot in front of the other.

It has rained on me at least four of the days. The wind was so bad one day it was blowing me backwards. I've gotten mud everywhere. I've slipped, I've almost fallen but I don't know I am just way to stubborn.

I am starting to feel good. I notice that my lungs feel like they aren't working as hard. My legs feel stronger and my whole body feels fitter. The only negative is my right foot hurts, everyday with the arthritis and once I stop running my knees hurt so bad I want to cry. I have started stretching more and doing yoga which probably will have benefits by them myself.

I want to get better... which is my new running song and mantra.

How to become a Runner

I am not built to be a runner. I have bad knees, arthritis everywhere and my body is just not built to move like that. I ran a lot while serving in the US Army so it's not like I have never ran but I would never have called myself a runner.

So why choose running to be the first thing I commit to doing? Well it's free for the most part. All you need is a pair of good running shoes and an area to run. It's easy to fit it into a schedule as you can do it at anytime. I also know from experience that it's a good place to think and zone out.. I can personally do it with my parter "baby shadow", in the running stroller or my hubby once I get faster. I can do it everywhere...

How To

No one died... well of course someone died but that wasn't the moment I knew I wasn't living up to my full potential or really taking in life for what it is. It wasn't really even a moment but a secession of time that just kept piling up underneath me not realizing how fast it was really going. So when it hit me, it was like a million face plants, a few hundred slap in the faces from my favorite people and mostly a heart that just ached. I didn't know what to do, there is so many variables, other people and of course money is always involved. Where do you go to fix your life, your self? No I am not pointing myself in the direction of a therapist... I don't need to talk to someone, simply talking is honestly one of my worst problems in general. I really talk to much, listen to little and need more action to set motion in really every aspect of my life. So what to do as I sit here writing (kinda like talking) a blog about my life.

Well after some more agony, defeat and failure in a lot of areas that I am sure I will discuss more of later, I came up with an idea to do. Yes, simply do... a documentation of doing.. kinda an andecote to "how to do"... maybe everyone else has got that figured out but I have a feeling I'm not the only one.
