MODERN CHARACTER IN THEDAS CHALLENGE WEEK
The Modern Character In Thedas Discord is celebrating its third anniversary in August!!! To celebrate, weâre hosting a challenge week!!! The challenge runs from August 4 - 10, 2019.
Anyone can participate! You donât have to be a member of the Discord to join in! We welcome first-time writers and veterans alike!
All media types are welcome. Do you do fic? Art? Music? Fanvids? Something else? We welcome it all!
Tag your content responsibly. All ratings are allowed, but ensure you tag your content well and follow the ratings system.
Do as many or as few days as youâd like. As writers and artists, we are all familiar with clickholes, writerâs block, and the pursuit of perfectionism. No pressure if you donât make all the prompts!
Late submissions are accepted (Up to one week after the event is completed). We know how it is to get caught up in those last-minute edits.

Magic is meant to serve man, and never to rule over him. Write about your MCIT dealing with magic, good or bad.
Itâs Tuesday in Thedas. You know what that means. Everything goes wrong for your MCIT and their crew. Describe their worst day in Thedas.
One good thing about the Blight is how it brings people together! Write about your MCIT and the Grey Wardens.
Your MCIT is pining over someone! Write about their feelingsâ a date, or even just a friendship with one of the companions or canon characters.
Your MCIT has switched bodies with one of the companions by some magical means. What sort of shenanigans do they get up to and how do they fix it?
Your MCIT swoops out of the wilds and into the Warden/Champion/Inquisitorâs life. Wait! Swooping is bad!
