Day 23 of #schmaultober2025 "nuka love" @thefalloutwiki
Happy Birthday 🎂 to my OC, Jonathan Graves. He was born Oct, 24, 2077 in Vault 76.
Here, he spends it with it husband and his best friends at Nuka World on tour. Lily and Rina both wish the two men would take the double date more seriously. But Graves and Beckett have every plan to get wasted on some Nukashine.
I am so in love with him
Absolutely obsessed with the Nukashine hat now, lord help me
IT'S FINALLY TIME!
My giftee for the Fallout February 2023 exchange event is @nukashine so I made a piece with their beautiful courier/lone wanderer OC Llilith Vale ❤️
FOOD SET- Nuka world themed~! Thankies to Fae-and-Fox For the suggestion of the mutfruit pie prompting me to actually finally make this~
This post was brought to you by Nukashine. There is no blackout like a nukashine blackout! Can you spot the nukashine bottle?
Nukashine
Nukashine is supposed to be Nuka-Cola Quantum that has been fermented and distilled, which would technically be a brandy, I believe. We do not have the capacity to distill, unfortunately, so we resorted to making a Nuka-Cola Quantum mead and then mixing that with moonshine.
How we made it: First, we combined the recipes from The Elder Scrolls Cookbook and the Fallout Cookbook in order to make Nuka-Cola Quantum mead (will discuss that more later), and I added green tea to get some caffeine in there. Also, we made some Nuka-Cola Quantum concentrate. Then we tried four moonshines: Ole Smoky White Lightnin’, Sugarlands Shine Unaged Rye (my favourite), Ole Smoky Blue Flame (@slyjinks‘s favourite), and Midnight Moon. They all tasted like burning and acetone. We dumped all the remnants of the moonshine samplers together, yielding about 5.1 oz total. We mixed together 4.5 parts Quantum concentrate (2.9 oz) to 8 parts moonshine (5.1 oz). Then we mixed that one to one with the Quantum mead.
Reactions: Slyjinks feels this is better than plain moonshine, which I agree with, but I learned today I don’t actually like moonshine. The Nukashine is fruity and tart.
Would we make this again: Maybe. I fantasize about meeting Fallout friends in real life and giving them homemade Nukashine.
