A giant white moth landed on Lahabrea's shoulder and started tapping its feathered feelers against his cheek as if it wanted to greet him. It seemed Athena had made another familiar to convey her affectionate messages to her husband without seeing him herself.

so engrossed as he is in conversation with a few of his words before him, it is no small wonder the weight is not incinerated when it lands upon his shoulder with no such prior warning . the two stiffen a'fore him with wide eyes behind their masks, gaze firmly glued to errant familiar the nuzzles &. taps against him .

but stern though he may be, he is not cruel without warrant . arm raises slowly, wrist curling in that he may nudge at the moth's head with fingers, careful to avoid feelers &. wide eyes alike . there is a slight incline of his head towards it, that he may quietly mumble against it ❝ how fortunate, that i recognize your aether so soon as none else could . ❞ &. then does he return to the conversation at hand, sharp words goading both words into their explanation once more— resigned to the fate of ferry to dear heart's familiar for the remainder of he day, it seems .
