Hi there and welcome to my blog! I’m Shadow or Dess, whichever you prefer to use. (I actually go by DessTheArtist now but I’m just too lazy to change it in every platform)

I’m an artist, animator, and writer and have lots of stories I want to tell! I’ve got a very big interest in Pokemon, Kirby, Deltarune, Mega Man, Yugioh,Moomin, and In Stars and Time. I may or may not post about these things though.

Relaxed nature, sturdy body

A hariyama who is calm and relaxed, she knows how to take care of herself and others and prioritizes the health of her and her team. She’s big on self care and fitness and only fights in battle when strictly necessary or for training purposes. She’s encouraging and full of energy. Her general calmness in any situation makes her a great fit for exploration work. She is usually quite happy and rarely gets angry.

She’s best friends with Fir.

Moves: Brick Break, Rock Tomb, Focus Energy, Knock Off

Rash nature, proud of its power

A phantump who’s extremely prideful and quick to anger. They’re considered to be quite rude and perhaps even a bit lazy. Fir is completely unable to evolve and thus has been looked down upon and seen as incapable. They are actually quite resilient and annoyingly persistent. They taunt their opponents in battle in order to rile them up. When they first met with the team, they were being chased around by a hariyama and Kuma ended up saving them. Fir was generally disliked by most of the team after they first joined for their big ego and rudeness

Moves: Protect, Toxic, Phantom Force, Leech Seed

#Also a little tid bit: My dumbass somehow forgot that focus sash was a one use item so #I sent Fir out against a magnezone that was higher leveled than them bc he was the only one on the team that wasn’t weak to it #And somehow this guy survived flash cannon three times in a row with one hp without activating the focus sash.#and then after he beat I ran into another trainer who’s Pokémon I don’t remember who did activate the focus sash #then I healed Fir up and did not switch them out because again I somehow forgot focus sash was a one use item #then Fir survived once again on one hp and then I decided to switch him out finally #This is on the way to the Kahuna Hapu fight btw #point is Fir literally could have died at any point because of this and just didn’t somehow out of pure luck???#oh yeah and also I sent him out against gastradon during the Hapu fight and he set up both toxic and leech seed and at some point #the gastradon just stopped attacking them because it was trying to heal itself Hapu even used a hyper potion #it eventually fell to Fir’s shadow Claw. Fir is a menace #oh yeah also all my Nuzlocke characters are getting added to my Artfight if anyone was curious #pokemon nuzlocke #pokémon sun and moon #Pokemon oc #Fir the Phantump

Careful Nature, thoroughly cunning.

A Persian who thinks carefully and strategically, she always thinks 3 steps ahead and plans everything. When she first joined the team as a meowth she was mean spirited and spoke harshly to those who did things without thinking. As a Persian she mellowed out a bit, and began to care for the team greatly. Her usual character breaks in battle, she fights fiercely and without mercy. Even against impossible odds, she holds on and fights to protect her friends/team.

Moves: Fake out, facade, feint attack, work up

Currently remembering when I dreamt up an entire Pmd comic, like an entire comic start to finish and I woke up and the only thing I remembered was a single location and a cacturne and Alolan Raichu’s extremely gay rivalry (I think rivalry’s the right word?) which is really funny but also makes me really mad that it’s the only thing I remember. (That cacturne is Dante btw). This dream is also the story idea that Miuko is a part of.

I thought I was done with Artfight refs but then I finally came up with a design for this guy. Oh well. Meet Dante! A pretty chill sheriff who looks really intimidating until you talk to him. He really enjoys teasing others.

Since I got all their refs done for Artfight I thought I’d introduce you guys to Team Harmony! The main characters of a pmd comic idea I have (it doesn't really have a name yet).

The one sentence summary of the story is: "An alolan sandshrew embarks on a journey to find her people in a world where alolan pokemon don't exist"

or something like that i'm still developing the story right now!

And yes it has to do with Alola because I love Sun and Moon, those are my favorite pokemon games ever.
