As Gale sat sipping a nice glass of red wine, a stranger slid onto the stool beside him. The wizard glanced over to see a very handsome half-elf with short, dark hair and lovely green eyes that seemed to dance with mischief. “Hey there, handsome. Drinking all by your lonesome?” The man asked. His playful little smirk was charmingly familiar, in a way. Gale couldn't help but smile at him, “I am, yes. It's nice to go out alone some nights and meet new people.”

One month. 31 Prompts. All sorts of hands-on action to be had, whether it’s art, writing, or you're a two-fister who does both.

First off we have the rules. I know, not fun.

You can post on multiple platforms, but make sure to post to the AO3 collection as well.

Works must be posted on AO3 starting in July. I'll post the AO3 collection link closer the the date.

Be respectful of everyone else. This ties back into rule 4.

(Un)Frequently Asked Questions:

Is jilling ok? Yes. Adding jilling to the name and tag made it too long, so I just stuck with jacking.

Can I pick multiple prompts? Yes.

Can I use multiple prompts from multiple days in the same work? Also yes.

Do I have to use all the prompts for each day? Only if you want to.

Do I have to post my work on the specific day of the prompt? *Withers’ Voice* No.

I want to use a prompt/multiple prompts for a non BW work. Is that ok? Yes. Just don’t use the tag or post to the collection.

Why have both a tag and a collection? Collections are easier to share than a tag, and easier to see new entries in. The tag also allows for easier filtering for people who may not be interested in seeing the event.

Are threesomes/orgies alright? Yes, as long as two of the people are BW, and they do the dirty. (If the orgy has everyone sitting in a circle while jacking/jilling it, is that a circle jerk?)

Why are you running this event? Because I’m a wanker ;)

So, here is the fic I've been working on for the past month! It's my submission for the BWBR MerMay 2026 event. It's my first time writing for an event like this and I had a blast! I also ended up writing way more than I expected but I enjoyed myself the whole time which made everything worth it in the end.

I do plan on writing more for this fic to wrap up some loose ends! So, be on the lookout for that.

Summary:

Astarion was bored.

Since breaking free of his former master’s chains, life had become monotonous. While glad he was no longer under the bastard’s control, he hadn’t realized just how dull and repetitive freedom could be.

Most nights passed uneventfully, with hunting, swimming and eating, then he would rest during the day; repeating the same cycle over and over again.

Then a human dropped into his life and everything changed.
