Oh my god, he won’t even shut up when he’s dying!

Mercutio? Is that you?

@that one critic who thinks “’twill out, ‘twill out” means Emilia wishes she took the twill out of the handkerchief
...no
Some of my favourite Jughead faces™ by Derek Charm
So anyway what if they cast Dylan Sprouse to play Jughead’s cousin Nathan
To the anon that was asking for scans of Juggie’s cousin Nathan, maybe oh-shit-im-still-here could post more scans of this story?
This is maybe my favorite part of the early Newsies movie script.
“One year from today, he’s gonna wreck it again. 👊 The sequel to #WreckItRalph opens in theatres March 9, 2018.”
IT FEELS SOOOO CLOOOOSE <3
There’s something real thoughtful about rain. The rhythm of it, and the smell… It’s just so calm and gentlelike that you just want to sit there and let it wash all over you. Sometimes the little pitter-patter it speaks to you, telling you the little secrets that only rain knows. There’s certain kinds of storms that ain’t good for no one to be out in, those are the ones with thunder and lightning—but a nice, whispering rain never done no harm. A soft rain like that, you could most call your best friend.
well, to quote allieinarden…
I just listened to a radio theatre adaptation of Tom Sawyer where, instead of saying David and Goliath, Tom said that the first two apostles were Sodom and Gomorrah.
I would like to ask why you consider Emilia the best character in Othello? I'm just curious as to what makes her such a good character
(This question is super old and I don’t even know when I received it but here goes. Also, this is relevant because my research paper for English is going to involve Emilia because I love her my queen my life.)
She’s my favorite character because she’s the one who unravels it all in the end, the one who kicks her foot through all of Iago’s devilish plans. She’s arguably the only character in the play who undergoes any sort of change. At first she’s willing to selfishly steal Desdemona’s handkerchief in hopes of gaining her husband’s affection, but by the end, she sacrifices her life to uncover the truth. Emilia is the singular glimmer of hope in the whole tragedy, because even though everything has gone to hell, she unveils Iago. And because of that, the wrongdoer is revealed and will face his punishment. It doesn’t make everything right, but it still leaves you with that tiny bit of hope that people will pursue truth in the face of so much deception.
…Also, she’s really sassy and witty and just does not get enough credit and has to put up with being married to the Biggest Jerk in the World™ and I just want to hug her forever.
book: Oliver Twist's ninth birthday found him a pale thin child, somewhat diminutive in stature, and decidedly small in circumference.

barnes and noble classics are gorgeous and I need them all.
Never was there a tale of more woe than that of Juliet and her Romeo
Never was there a tale of more strife than that of Macbeth and his stabby knife
Never was there a tale of more sad than that of Hamlet and his spooky dad
Several editors, most notably Steevens, have accepted Theobald’s emendation of “stabby knife” to “stabby wife” (cf. Folio 3).
Jacob Marley
Jacob Marley rises up through the floor, startling the barista into a near swoon as she closes up shop. Long chains made of disposable cups, plastic lids, zarfs, and stirrers are shackled to his ankles and weighted with oversized bags of coffee grounds. With a spine-shivering moan, Marley warns the barista that her soul is in danger of being forever bound in the incessant torture of remorse. “These chains!” he howls. “These chains are longer than the Starbucks chain, and far harder to break! Repent, and change your ways!” The barista, cowering in the corner, says: “I think you may have the wrong person…”
Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means “God is with us.”
