So, I've been inspired to start a non-profit/charity by my favorite band, BTS, but Ratonhnhaké:ton has inspired how I want to structure this non-profit. Outside of the Assassins and Templars, Ratonhnhaké:ton (in my opinion) was one of the most successful characters because he built an entire COMMUNITY completely on his own. He didn’t need Achilles, the Brotherhood, or even his tribe to build the Homestead into what it became and fill it with amazing and unconditional people. Yes, Achilles showed him how the Homestead's ledger works, but knowing the mechanics of something and using that to profit and BUILD something are two completely different things. He took those teachings and became a successful man, even wealthy (I finished my game with £86,000, which translates into over $19 million today, and I could have kept going) because of his convoys, trading, and crafting at the Homestead made a good amount of money for the Homestead.
I want to structure my non-profit on Ratonhnhaté:ton's beliefs of community and unconditional acceptance of others as human beings. However, I need to actually build a community. I don't have friends, and I'm very close to cutting most of my family out of my life. Any advice on building a community of good people when I'm pretty much alone?
