Redheaded Stepchildren series

zebrawallpaper wrote Redheaded Stepchildren, which is entirely from Debbie’s point of view and acts as a sort of character study for her, focusing on her relationship with Ian. his relationship with Mickey is in the background, and the same goes for its sequel Irish Twins, except this one is from Lip’s point of view and focuses on his relationship with Ian. both are extremely well-crafted narratives, and you should definitely check them out!

The Russian

svetlana’s story! starts with her childhood home in Russia, leads us through her harsh life as a sex worker, and its most recent update has gotten us up to 4x07 (ian’s return). very powerful, and the writing (by avalonia on ao3 and avalonia320 on tumblr) is absolutely brilliant.
