They talk about Randvi and Eivor’s relationship a bit in Betty Robertson’s (Odyssey and Valhalla writer) recent interview (x):

Interviewer: I believe you also wrote the line “now it seems the winds call me back to Randvi.” Were you asked to write a line referring to Randvi specifically, or was this something you came up with on your own? 

Betty: This was an organic thing that happened. It was pretty late in the game, because Glowecestrescire (Betty wrote this arc) was one of the last regions that we locked and Darby (ACV narrative director) was like, ‘hey we need a return to Randvi line for Glowecestrescire, we’re doing them for each arc.’ So I came up with that line. And then Darby read it and was like, oh that’s really good, let’s just use that for every territory. And then Cecilie (Eivor’s VA) read it and she does such an amazing delivery of that line! It’s so warm. 

Interviewer: Yeah, exactly. 

Betty: You feel every emotion that is shared between Eivor and Randvi. It just always gets me. I’m like, awww! (something unintelligible) 

Interviewer: It’s so soft.
