Sidious's whole goal was to be an emperor, and I want to think he accounted for fancy royal parties with fancy royal guests. He would've trained Maul in etiquette and ballroom dancing just as hard as he trained him in fighting, so Maul wouldn't embarrass him at a space gala or something.

The first time they have to host a rich people party on Mandalore, Maul turns out to be a very elegant dancer, and Savage is like "seriously brother? 🤨" and Maul is like "Yes? 🤨 What kind of heathen do you take me for?" and he has to carry the mingling (which he hates) because Savage has two left feet.

Bonus points if Maul finds out Obi Wan is just as adept on a ballroom floor, and is SO angry about it for reasons he can't even articulate.
