Tucked within the growing skyline of downtown Raleigh, NC you can still find some old, rustic areas. Its simple to shoot, but takes experience and eye not to create an exposure that is mundane and falls within the rest of the edit.

This past year I had taken a short break from shooting to get my son acclimated to some life changes he has gone through. However, we are back and ready to make great things happen in 2018!

During my time in Garner, I made friends with a distinguished gentleman. Tall, soft spoken, but sure footed in his skills. Alpha Barber Shop in historic downtown Garner is a special place with that familiar small town piece of Americana atmosphere.

Tucked among several unavailing businesses you will find his quaint shop. This talented and friendly barber will greet you when you walk in as though you have been family for many years. Roddrick can become more than a barber,  he can become a friend.

The focus is to provide quality craft and trade by utilizing traditional skills to supply archival rescue to many once forgotten relics. Revived and restored from the salvage to the final brand, The Noble Woodsman honor the heritage of each piece. Each Noble Woodsman restoration is ready to to be utilized in the field or be displayed as a piece of art. Every artifact has a story, carry it on.
