Have you watched the Netflix series on the McCann disappearance?

I tried watching the first episode and it was nothing but over-dramatics and filler mixed with the obvious story they’re trying to push. I also caught half of the last episode (seriously 8 unnecessary episodes wow, they could have covered everything in 2 or 3 at most) because my boyfriend was watching it and I wanted to bang my head against a wall. Save yourselves the time. A true crime creator who I love, Stephanie Harlowe, covered this case in detail (part 1, part 2) and also talked about this docuseries in her Coffee and Crime segment so I’d recommend those too. She goes into a lot of detail, as she does in every case she covers. The Netflix “documentary” isn’t worth it. At all.

I can back this up, it was unnecessary to have 8 episodes. Fair enough they covered bits I didn’t know about because I’ve never really followed the case that closely, but if you’ve watched YouTubers doing True Crime eps on this, you’ll know everything it covers already. They have made it overly dramatic just to appeal to viewers (and to attempt to top the other series that are popping up like this all of a sudden). Honestly watch that Stephanie, don’t waste your time on this bullshit
