Why does everyone forget that one of the main groups that was routinely and very clearly parodied in early 40k was the USSR and communism? It’s not just fascism that’s being solely parodied in 40k, it’s the WHOLE GAMUTE of authoritarian regimes: absolute monarchy, fascism, communism, theocracy.

Hell, one of the units in the Imperial Guard is called a FUCKING commissar, who’s sole job is propaganda and shooting retreating soldiers. Gee… I wonder what real world government implemented that idea?

WotC cancelled a trilogy of novels commissioned back around 2017, and the writers as reasonably pissed. They have filed for a lawsuit over their breach of contract and honestly, I hope this hurts WotC. If this brings Mike Mearls to tears I know justice will have been done.

At last my Library of Chaos is completed with the final entry.  Even managed to find a printing from 1988 with the “Suggested for Mature Readers” blip on the cover. Hilariously I think people today (given what I come across on this hell site and other groups) would be even less likely to be able to handle this book today than in the 80s. -sighs-
